She knew it already. She'd take the ball in on hand, the wand in the other, spin around to face the crowd while they set the crown upon her head, and then she'd be queen. What was there for them to go over, really? She sighed softly as she closed her eyes, and then she heard the faint hint of a whisper behind her, At least we have her back. Our beloved princess. Can you imagine, her wanting to be with a demon? He wasn't fit for our kingdom, anyways. She gritted her teeth, turning to glare the individuals, "I beg your pardon, but excuse me?" She said softly, her wings starting to shift in annoyance. "Do not speak ill about him. You do not know him." She responded in annoyance, "Trey was perfect for me." She added coldly, before turning to look at her parents who looked obviously upset with her, "Forgive me mother, father. But I know what it is I must do. I am prepared to take the crown now. I do not see why I must stay any longer." With that said the young faerie spun on her heal and stormed out of the castle's hall. She stomped her way out of the kingdom, going through a small, shimmering portal to enter the mortal world once more, an annoyed sigh leaving her. This was stupid! How could they expect her to go through this so soon after losing Trey? First Arson, now Trey . . . . was she ever meant to be with someone? She'd heard the rumors though. The ones about a possible arranged marriage between her and the Dark Prince. Surely her parents wouldn't do that though.
She stomped angrily through the woods, before hearing the flutter of wings. Clearly someone sent to bring her back. Instantly she gathered the full dress of her ball gown, running away from the sound, the tiara glittering in her hair, looking every bit the run away princess she was. It wasn't fair! Why must she be forced to do all of this, why not let her mourn? She knew her parents hadn't liked her demon boyfriend . . . but she loved him. She growled beneath her breath, not even noticing the cheetah among the grass until she'd ran across the cheetah's tail, tripping as she did so and ending up stumbling slightly, surprised.

Madi laid under a tree in the park. She was in her cheetah form, basking in the patch of sunlight showing through the trees. The end of her tail thumped with irritation against the grass as her golden eyes peered around her. She had spent many weeks doing just this, laying here in cheetah form. She was trying so hard to find her place in this God forsaken world and it just kept rejecting her. Soon she was just going to go give herself over to the damn zoo and live in a habitat for the rest of her life. With a growl of irritation she dropped her head on her paws, becoming still. She wanted to go to college. But college required money, even with financial aid. Money required a job, which there seemed to be a lack of them around for freshly graduated teenagers. Everyone in this world expected you to go to college and earn a degree to make something, but no one was willing to help anyone get on their feet to go.
She was so distracted by her own thoughts that she didn’t even hear the sound of running footsteps until one of them was right on top of her tail. She yowled and jumped to her feet, spinning and hackles raising in surprise. Giving in to natural instinct, the cheetah growled and swiped, her metal claws catching and easily ripping through and shredding the material that it caught. Once Madi’s predator brain processed that she had just ripped through a dress, she dropped her paw but continued to growl in irritation and advance towards the figure on the ground. As she approached, she began complaining at the figure, but she realized to the girl on the ground all she was hearing was cat noises. Madi began to shift back to her form, but continued her complaining and bitching until it was in a human voice, where she finished with, ”And next time, why don’t you watch where the hell you’re going?”

[atrb=border,0,true] [style=width:390px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 12px; color:8b3c54; text-align: justify;padding-right: 25px; padding-left: 15px]The young fae princess had no idea where she was going. Just that she needed to get away, she wanted to leave. She needed to get away from that place. She had so much to think about. And their words about her dear Trey, so soon after losing him? It was too much. Way too much! How else was she suppose to handle these things? A sad quiet sigh left her lips as she ran through the area only to end up stepping, and tripping over something on the round, though judging by the yowl - it was something alive. She jumped as claws stretched towards her, ripping through her ball gown. A sight whimper left the princess as she eyed the creature who'd just destroyed the gown she was suppose to be crowned as queen in stalk towards her. Dear god, she was going to die. And probably go to heaven. Once again being separated from Tremaine. How was this fair! She watched as growls left the female cheetah before the creature started to shift, and soon stood as a human, and she flinched at the words, And next time, why don't you watch where the hell you're going? She didn't know what it was. The already hard morning she'd had. Her dress being ruined. The fact she was missing Trey. The fact her dress was ruined, or the comment about hell . . . . but suddenly she couldn't stop it. Her head bowed, her face pillowed in her hands as she finally allowed herself to cry. A princess never shows weakness to anyone, Caelum. A princess never cries. She must be a hope to her people. She had never been allowed to cry - truly - for arson, nor for Trey now, until this moment. And once the tears started, she couldn't stop. "I-I'm so sorry. I-I didn't m-mean to! I-I j-just had t-to get a-away! I d-didn't see you! W-why is everyone yelling a-at me today!" The princess cried through her tears, her tiara falling from her curled nearly white hair, landing in her lap before rolling onto the grass in front of her. She uncovered her hands from her eyes, mascara running down her cheeks before picking the tiara up, "This is all your fault! If I wasn't part of the royal family, then they wouldn't care about who I dated, and who I didn't. I wish I'd never been crowned princess at all!" She shrieked in her emotional fit before throwing the tiara as far from her as she could, only to look down at her dress, then in the direction of her tiara, and her tears started to fall with more force, "Oh goddess! My mother is going to kill me! M-my dress is ruined! I j-just threw my t-tiara somewhere. I-I'm suppose to take over the kingdom in a few days, and I can't even control my own life!" Caelum, clearly, was not having a good day.

Madi stood before the girl on the ground, golden eyes flashing dangerously, fists balled at her sides and her lips still raised in a predatory snarl. She was so not in the mood to deal with frilly little princesses who thought they could walk all over peoples’ tails. When the girl on the ground burst into tears and began stammering about being sorry and about everyone yelling at her, Madi’s temper simmered down a bit. She let her hands relax and her face softened into an irritated expression rather than a “I’m Going to Rip Your Head Off” expression. The girl seemed genuinely upset and Madi realized that perhaps she had been to quick to snap at the girl. Madi kneeled down as the girl hurled away her tiara. Madi watched it go with a raised eyebrow, imagining what that tiara probably cost, but then turned back to the girl. ”Hey, it’s alright. Just, ya know, watch where you’re going better next time? After all, you could’ve hurt yourself as much as me.” Madi’s barely contained irritation and awkwardness at the girls tears and carelessness penetrated easily through her words and she grimaced. This girl was going to think she was a total bitch. Oh well, you couldn’t be friends with everyone, right? Oh goddess! My mother is going to kill me! M-my dress is ruined! I j-just threw my t-tiara somewhere. I-I’m suppose to take over the kingdom in a few days, and I can’t even control my own life! Madi sighed and rubbed at her eyes. She so did not want to deal with this right now. ”Look, at least you HAVE a mom and HAVE job. Yeah, it kinda sounds like your job may be a very sucky one… But it’s pretty much being handed to you, so… Quit your crying, get up on your feet, and we’ll go find your damn tiara.” She eyes the torn strips of the dress. ”Er… Yeah.. I don’t know what we’re gonna do about that dress, but um, well… sorry about that. Guess steel claws can do some damage.” Madi smiled and tilted her head at her girl, trying to convey the fact that she was not crazy in any way. She had just lost mostly all of her people skills since graduation. And, it seemed, become much more of a grump.

[atrb=border,0,true] [style=width:390px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 12px; color:8b3c54; text-align: justify;padding-right: 25px; padding-left: 15px]It was like all the bad things in her life was combining with the worst possible day she could be dealt, nothing at all seemed to be going the way she wanted. Since Trey's death/disappearance/what ever you wanted to call it, she'd been pushed from day to day to day, and to be honest her nerves were already stretched thin. And finally everything had come crashing down around her. It shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone that she'd finally collapsed in tears and general fit of grief. She'd finally escaped her the rehearsal for her corienation, but at what cost? She went from people she knew yelling at her, to a total stranger yelling. The already distraught teenager immediately burst into tears, exhausted and tired of everything her life had been made into the past couple of weeks. It was on pure impulse that she hurled her tiara from her head, as the voice that had been previously yelling at her spoke up, Caelum slowly looked up, her large blue eyes filled with tears. How was anything alright. Her breath stuttered out of her, as she tried to control her sobs, horrified at what her mother would say if she saw her losing it like this, "I will," The soon-to-be Queen stuttered slowly, before shifting and looking down at her dress, her missing tiara. She was a mess, her whole life was a mess. How was she suppose to be fit to rule her own people? At the girl's sudden voice, Caelum startled, her eyes wide as she looked up at the female, biting her lip not to say anything back to the girl. Yes, her life was being handed to her. She'd been raised from a young age to take over for her parents, groomed to be the perfect little princess, until Tremaine had shown her she could still be herself. But honestly, why was she still being yelled at? It wasn't like she chose to be born with a silver spoon in her mouth, and it wasn't like she really wanted this all to be going the way it was. Bt she did need to quit crying. She took in a deep breath, whipping her eyes with the sleeves of her already ruined dress, "Sorry . . . everything lately has just kind of caught up with me." She mumbled, borderline-meek before slowly standing, looking at her dress sadly, "It's alright, I never much liked it anyway . . . . My mother chose it." She said softly, before looking in the direction she'd hurled her tiara, he eyes closing briefly, "I really am sorry for stepping on your . . . tail . . . I guess I was so distracted with trying to get away I forgot to watch where I was going." She let out a soft sigh, brushing a hand through her perfect bleach blonde locks to unpin the colored streaks hidden beneath, letting the soft pastel dyed blue and pink streaks once more frame her face, and dot the under side of her hair, "And, thank you, for helping me find the tiara."

Madi clenched her jaw and blinked a few times to try to calm her temper as the girl made a visible effort to control her emotions. Really, Madi knew she shouldn’t be so hard on everyone. Yeah, she had it tough, but that didn’t mean she was in the worst situation she could possibly be in. Still, it was so obvious that this girl was of some royalty or some had some special blood with the way she was dressed. If she had money and an actual home, she really couldn’t be in that bad of a situation, could she?
Madi stood up with the girl, watching as she ran her hands through her hair. When she apologized for stepping on her tail the rest of Madi’s anger depleted. No, this girl was simply an innocent girl in some bad emotional state. That was pretty much the slogan of Madi’s entire life, so she could relate to the girl. ”It’s no big deal, really. And I’m sorry about snapping at you. Sometimes I forget other people have it just as hard as me but in different ways.” She grinned at the girl in what she hoped was a friendly manner. ”My name’s Madilynn, by the way. But you can call me Madi. Now, I think I saw the tiara fly over in this direction.” Madi smiled again before heading towards a tall patch of grass by the tree line she had been laying in. She would help this girl find her tiara and then she would probably just whisk herself back off to do her royal duties or whatever, and then Madi would be stuck doing just what she had been before her tail had been stepped on: stalking around the woods and eating bunny rabbits. At least, until she found a break and could sustain herself in human form. At least she had a second option and didn’t really have to live on the streets homeless. The woods would always be a second home to her and she knew she was never really without one. But she would like to excel in her human form as it was her first form. But apparently she sucked at being human. With a sigh she knelt down and started digging through the grass looking for anything shiny.
