There was a flash of light followed by a fractal pattern of atoms swirling from the center of a multi-hued vortex that had appeared out of nowhere. Between Mars and Jupiter, the vortex had manifested within the center of the Asteroid Belt that cut through the Milky Way, separating the inner planets from the outer. From this odd vortex, in a flash of ultra-violet light, and the further dispersal of even more atoms, a beaten up machine seemed to tumble half-hearted from the swirling hues. A quick swerve, with the distinctive jerk of controls no longer properly following direction; carried the vessel out of the path of an oncoming asteroid, before the pilot struggled to keep control long enough to clear the rest of the asteroids and remove herself from the midst of the belt. The worst was avoided, but many of the smaller space rocks pinged off of the sides of the dented and breaking down the ship, making it look worse still than it looked when first exiting the vortex (that had now faded away once more). The young woman manning the controls had an air of desperation surrounding her, her ivory hair falling haphazardly in her face, frizzing out with her added stress levels, "Team Delta? Copy? Team Beta? Cap'n Zyro? Can anyone copy? Can anyone here me? This is Alpha Bel-X2V, can anyone copy? Please?"
Her fingers flew across the control panel, trying everything in her power to get the ship to even out, to once more be in her power, but even as she struggled, controls were acting on their own. Off to the side, music started to play before stopping, before a tv show seemed to air, before switching back to music in random order. Behind her, a coffee machine was currently on the eighteenth cup of consecutive coffee being brewed, and no amount of unplugging seemed to be turning that off (she was starting to worry dimly of flooding the control room in the hot beverage. She managed to wrangle control of the ship long enough to clear the last of the asteroids and skirt the side of Mars before it veered off course again. Careening towards another planet, she struggled to recorrect the controls again. Almost wrestling the steering wheel into redirecting the ship, a sudden force spun the wheel widely, the sudden jerk causing Belzura to fall from her chair, smacking her forehead against the metal floor. Warning alarms were now sparking, red lights flashing, and whirling alarms alerting her of more significant trouble than before.
Struggling to her feet, she lifted her hand to her forehead, wincing as her fingers came back sticky and red, a dull headache to form as she stared towards the large screen to the right of the controls, where flashing red letters had her heart dropping. Gravitational Pull? She'd been pulled into an orbit? Slamming herself back into the pilot's chair, her hands returning to the wheel, trying desperately to wrestle control, but at this point, the acting force was stronger and the controls were going haywire, the ship crashing towards the planet, tumbling nose over tail towards the surface of the blue and green planet, "Mayday! Mayday! This is Alpha Bel-X2V, My ship has taken severe damage. I'm free-falling towards a planet in an unknown sector. Please, can anyone copy? Cap'n Zyro? Cap'n, please!?"" She broadcasted desperately, trying to multitask in controlling her decent and activating the emergency beacon. Unfortunately, neither seemed to be working - the beacon stuck and malfunctioning, and the gravitational pull forcing her to awkwardly direct where the nose of her ship was pointing, even as it tumbled in a free fall.
The ship was now increasing in speed, and it was only through this effect that Bel was able to force some control to stop the tumbling, even as she could see buildings below becoming more distinct, and the ground approaching quickly, "Mayday! My ship is going down!" Her voice took on a more desperate tone, betraying her fear, "Someone, please copy!" Bel squealed, as her eyes grew wide, watching the impact zone growing closer, and bracing herself for the inevitable, "Cap'n Zyro?! Do you copy? Cap'n Zyro, Cap'n; please! Daddy, please answer me! Daddy I'm scared, Daddy!" Her voice was cut off from saying anything else as the ship suddenly collided with the roof of a building, skimming across it and ripping the entire thing apart as she was once more tossed to the ground. From there it was a violent tumble off the roof, slamming directly through a porch, before the ship skidded across the ground, and dove straight into the pool, slicing through the water and embedding deeply into the pool wall.
Bel stayed still long enough to ensure she was uninjured beyond some scrapes and bruising (and the head injury she was dutifully ignoring). Nothing seemed broken, but the pain in her head had increased the last time it had slammed into the floor. She couldn't stay in the ship, however; the hull and windows had already been breached and water was quickly flowing in. Stumbling to the hatch, Bell pulled it opens nd fought the wave of water as it rushing in. Swimming awkwardly, the water around her starting to dye red, she forced herself to the surface, before floating there for a moment, as she breathed heavily. Her eyes drifted shut as the last of the adrenaline wore off, replaced with exhaustion and left her passed out at the top of the water, her skin tight white and blue uniform severely cut up, and blood blooming in the water around her, her hair spread out like an ivory halo around her, the clearly alien ship and clothing on display for the owner of the home she had accidentally destroyed. 1020 w/coding --- random playlist |

im just wishing tomorrow will be different from today Sol found himself stretching as he sat at his computer. The demon had been searching for the perfect horse to purchase for as long as he could remember, always finding himself at certain sites and hoping for a change. The horses at the stable were amazing, but they were not necessarily built for someone as massive as he was. And that was not to mention the fact that his demon form was nearly double the size of his human one!
A shudder ran through the house, making him jump as he blinked in the sudden brightness that was his living room. Gazing up, he saw that the roof had been torn away and a flash of something metallic disappearing into his back yard.
"Um... What in the world?" He murmured to himself as he strode through his kitchen, following the path of destruction. His blue-gray eyes followed it to the pool that he had been meaning to get rid of. What good was it for a fire demon to have a pool.. He couldn't even swim! As he took in the crashed ship, his eyes caught the sight of the being that had been inside. She was striking, though the danger to her with blood-loss quickly asserted itself in his head. Moving forward, Sol thanked whatever gods were looking out for him that she was in the shallows of the pool where he could just wade in.
There was a soft hiss as his warm skin hit the cool water, heavens his skin was always too hot compared to normal people. Reaching for her, he took her gently and tried to ascertain where the blood was all coming from. It seemed to be mostly scratches, nothing that would be immediately life threatening. With a glance at the nearly destroyed ship and the fact that he would have to decide what to do with the pool now for certain, Sol gathered the tiny creature in his arms and lifted her from the water.
"Well... I cant put you in the living room... You did a magnificent job of taking out the roof there. I suppose my bedroom will have to do." He was speaking to the unconscious being in his arms, trying to make a plan as to what to do next. Striding through the house with a panther like grace, he nudged open doors and retreated to the one place in the house that would give away his blood. The colors in the bedroom were golds and reds, as well as blacks. He had once considered himself the demon of the sun, so the fiery tones soothed him.
Setting her gently on the bed, he grabbed a large, dark red, fluffy blanket and settled it over her cool form. "Now... Do I call someone or wait for you to wake?" He mused aloud, vivid eyes taking in her pale form and admiring the features that were so blatantly feminine against his rough and masculine bedroom. Being as gentle as he could, he tried his best to figure out if there were any injuries that he could treat or any that he would need help with. Nothing jumped out at him outside of scrapes, but with the uniform on it made it challenging to tell.
"I am going to apologize in advance, mistress..." Sol bit out, going to his dresser to find a warm sweater that he could drape her in once he had cleaned and bandaged the assortment of injuries. With careful fingers and very sharp scissors, he worked through the uniform to remove it as well as possible and allow him to do his best to doctor her. The entire time, he was carefully averting his eyes from places that would be immodest for him to gaze. Once he was done, he covered her back up and settled himself into the chair in the corner to wait for her to wake.

The young alien floated in the water, her vision blurring, and fading in the edges as the darkness crept in and pulled her under. Dimly in the back she could sense someone approaching, arms lifting her from the cool water, warming her with a slight sizzle as water evaporated at touch from the heated form. But darkness called her, sinking her deeper into her own head and she lost all awareness, falling limp and dangling in his secure hold. It was hours before she would have any change in her condition - the femme not waking up when her clothing had been cut free, nor when her wounds were dressed, or was manhandled into a much too large for her sweater. But as the sky started to shift colors, growing steadily darker, a faint movement would be caught - the slight twitch of her fingers.
Ten minutes later, that twitch would return, this time accompanied by the suddenness of her hand forming a fist, buried in the bedding she was tucked into before soothing out again - but it was the sign of transition - from the deep healing sleep to a more restful one as her body started to come to. Fifteen more minutes and she was starting to become aware, her breathing pattern changing and her ears suddenly cataloging the information they heard, though there seemed little of it. When she finally awoke fully however, it was like flipping a switch, and suddenly the alien bolted up in the bed, her eyes snapping open impossibly wide, the dark-near black color starting to take on a tinge of neon blue beneath the growing darkness, just as faint swirling colors of blue began to appear on her skin as the night drew closer, starting to be visible but not yet glowing.
Her eyes scanned the room briefly, but missed the large man in the chair do to the fact she hadn't really been looking so much as distracting herself to do an inner catalog of her being. Toes were wiggled, fingers flexed, before the woman noticed the fabric hanging against her skin with an unfamiliar texture. A small hand grasped at the material, pulling it faintly to look at it quizzically before she realized she was neither in the water, or the ship. Her eyes snapped open wider than before, her ship! How could she have forgotten! This time Bel lept from the bed, before almost toppling as her head suddenly spun from the sudden movement, forcing her to catch herself against the side of the unfamiliar piece of furniture. The distraction was enough for here to finally lay eyes on the fellow across the room, in the corner, however.
Bel froze, staring at the unfamiliar being with his darker colored skin and much darker hair - a stark contrast to what she'd grown familiar with at home - pale skin that glittered like stardust and ivory hair. Instantly the curled ends of her ivory hair began to steam, as her emotions took a whirlwind ride as she tried to fill in the blanks between crashing and now. W⍑𝙹 ᔑ∷ᒷ ||𝙹⚍? w⍑ᒷ∷ᒷ ᔑᒲ i? h𝙹∴ ↸╎↸ i ⊣ᒷℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ∷ᒷ?" She asked quickly, the words falling from her mouth in a demand of answers of who he was, and where she was. Of course, it wouldn't take her long tor realize that the language wasn't exactly compatible, even as she sank back to the bed cautiously, her eyes watching the stranger, even as she occasionally glanced around the room with an increasing curiosity.
She needed answers however, and after a moment she stood with a swift motion, before purposely making her way towards him, the hem of the sweater shifting against her thighs as she moved, her bare feet not making a sound as she tilted her head at him, "I ᓭ╎リᓵᒷ∷ᒷꖎ|| ᔑ!¡𝙹ꖎ𝙹⊣╎⨅ᒷ ⎓𝙹∷ ℸ ̣ ⍑╎ᓭ. . . ." She apologized, her expression sympathetic, before her fingers touched his cheeks, and with out giving him any signs or warnings, her lips touched his, and in those short five moments, a quick array of information passed between them, in particular the English language and the basic mechanics of how to speak it. Pulling back after collecting the knowledge she needed, Bel stepped back a few feet, giving the now assaulted man some space, "I apologize again, for that; but I needed to learn your language." She paused, before glancing down at the sweater she wore, and her clearly bare legs before looking back up at him, and arching a single eyebrow, "Although, if you were the one who unclothed me and dressed me in this slip, then consider it revenge." She stated with a touch of humor, before remembering the purpose of the information exchange, "Now . . . who are you, are where am I?" 833 w/coding --- random playlist |

im just wishing tomorrow will be different from today
Sol watched her sleep, his eyes carefully alert for any danger to himself or the tiny creature. Time passed with infinite slowness as she slumbered. Taking a break, he called a contractor to come assess the damages to the house. Unfortunately, the contractor would not arrive until the next day. After a check on the slumbering alien, he shifted to his demon form to use the added height to cover the open surface of the house with tarps. Wouldnt do to have rain come and soak the entire house before the contractor arrived. Shifting back, he stepped inside and made himself a cup of tea. He also made her one, though he wasnt certain that she would even want it.
He arrived back in the bedroom just before she started to wake, settling the tea on the table beside her and retreating to his chair. Thankfully he had set his own tea down on the dresser beside him when she woke. Her dialect was unusual and he had no idea how to translate it. Before he could formulate his own response, she was pressing her cool lips to his and he lost all track of what was happening.
Her apology brought him back to the present and he stared at her with his cool gray blue eyes. "It was nothing to apologize for..." He stammered as he took in the fact that she was standing in just his sweater. "How does kissing me teach you English?" He asked, instantly curious.
"Oh... The sweater... You were bleeding and I needed to care for your wounds. I am no healer, but I did my best to clean and bandage them all... I promise I didnt look! I was as careful as I could possibly be to make certain that I respected your modesty. I just wanted to make sure that you didnt have more serious injuries hidden and getting worse." He was a mess as he tried to explain himself. "I am Mikhail Solis, though most people call me Sol..." He hastily introduced himself, deciding that it would be better to shut up rather than continue to babble on and make himself look worse.

If the fact her home tongue was not going to be useful, his expression on hearing it helped prove that point, and so she did the only thing she could - she stole a 'kiss' to ensure her knowledge of the language. As she stepped back and spoke in the odd tongue, his expression and stammering almost amused the alien as she tilted her head to the side, her hair falling over her face briefly, If you are certain." She responded with a slight bow of her head before glancing at him when he asked about the kiss teaching her English, her laugh was soft, her smile amused, "The mouth speaks the language, it knows the shapes to make, the sounds to utter. It's like stored information. I don't know the greater details, my mother would, she was a scientist . . ." She faltered, her smile falling, "I'm sure she'll be wishing I followed in her footsteps rather than my fathers. Which, reminds me . . . where exactly am I? What galaxy? What planet?" She asked.
At his words to explain the sweater, she was smiling in amusement again as he tried to explain the need to care for her wounds, of promising to not look, but just making sure that there were no serious injuries. "I can hardly fault you for the care. In fact, I appreciate it . . . Even small wounds can still get infected if untreated." She tilted her head when he introduced himself, and her smile was almost blinding this time, "Oh, it's lovely to meet you! My name is Belzura Kii'a Zyro." Her name was said quickly, flowing in her natural tongue, before she paused, and did a quick translation for his language, "I'm sure that it's a bit unnatural for your tongue, however, so you can call me Bel, most everyone else does." She added, before glancing around the darkening room, the glowing markings on her form starting to offer a touch of light now, "Would you be so kind as to show me what . . . uh, happened to my ship? Or rather, where it might be? I remember . . . . water, but not much else." She added after a brief moment. 411 w/coding --- random playlist |

I don't know the greater details, my mother would, she was a scientist . . . I'm sure she'll be wishing I followed in her footsteps rather than my fathers. Which, reminds me . . . where exactly am I? What galaxy? What planet?" Her description about the mouth sounded almost seductive and Sol found himself struggling to keep himself seated and listening. Heavens knew he really really needed to stop hanging out with Coy... That boy was a bad influence. When the female started asking questions, he forced himself to listen more attentively. "You are on Earth... Milky Way galaxy... New Orleans, United States of America, North American Continent..." He hoped that he had provided enough information for the confused creature.
"I can hardly fault you for the care. In fact, I appreciate it . . . Even small wounds can still get infected if untreated. Oh, it's lovely to meet you! My name is Belzura Kii'a Zyro. I'm sure that it's a bit unnatural for your tongue, however, so you can call me Bel, most everyone else does." Her name sounded magical as she spoke it, though there was no way in the world that he would remember how to say it. He clutched to her shortened name like a lifeline and smiled a broad smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you, miss Bel." He responded, taking her hand and kissing her knuckles without thinking.
"Would you be so kind as to show me what . . . uh, happened to my ship? Or rather, where it might be? I remember . . . . water, but not much else." Sol laughed as he stood. "Sure... Follow me." He led the way through his house, cringing at the mess that was remaining. "I promise, my home is not usually a mess like this... there was some strange metal ship that crashed into it and tore the roof in places." He teased, eyes glittering with mirth as he strode through the living room and then kitchen. At the back door, he held it open for her and motioned to the ship that was still sitting in the water at the edge of the pool.

Bel tilted her head as the information was given. Earth. Milkway. New Orleans, of the United Staes of America, North America. She blinked. None of it was familiar. How far had she travelled, "Hmmm, perhaps I shall need to view a star chart to figure out exactly where all of that might be . . . ." She stated after a moment. Thankfully introductions could distract her from that less than ideal thought. (If she didn't know where she was, how would she get a rescue ship in?) Still she had to smile as he took her hand, kissing the knuckles, "Pleasure's mine Sol, although just Bel is fine. I hardly need any kind of special title. Sounds silly." She stated with a laugh, "Although that could just be the culture I was raised in talking - my people aren't a very formal group. She stated with a casual grin.
At the request to see her ship, she was glad when he agreed, leading through the house. She cringed, just as he did, at the damage he had caused though, "I am so sorry about all of that! I'm afraid I lost control of my ship long before it entered the wormhole that brought it to your galaxy. What ever was fired at my vessel really fried the circuits. I couldn't even get the coffee machine to stop working!" She admitted with a touch of distress, remembering the fear that was like a pang of sour in her mouth. As he led her to the water, she stared with dismay at her ship under the pool, before sighing. "Excuse me a moment, I better try to find out if anything is retrievable. Uhm, don't panic, okay?" And like water rippling, her form shifted into a marine reptile of clearly alien origin, her claws accidentally carving out part of the edge the pool as she dove in, gills flaring as she swam towards the large ship, disappearing through the hatch. It was a solid twenty minutes before she returned, although her arms were empty. She broke the water's edge with the crest of her dorsal before she shifted back to human form, shaking her head as her hair laid flat against her face, the glowing blue markings of her skin now standing out brightly and casting them both in a soft blue light, "Well, I don't think anything is salvageable . . . the water has ruined all of the electronics, I don't think the ship itself will ever be operational." Her gaze fell to the claw marks on the edge of the pond and a laugh left her, "Oh, oops, sorry, I keep destroying your house, I guess the stone wasn't as strong as what we use back home for our claws . . . I really am sorry about that!" She added as she swam to the edge of the pool, and held a hand up to him, "Mind helping me out though?" She asked, nodding to the stairs that had been destroyed by her ship earlier. 549 w/coding --- random playlist |

Sounds silly. Although that could just be the culture I was raised in talking - my people aren't a very formal group." Sol mused for a moment. "My computer might have a star chart that we can access..." He said aloud before laughing. "I tend to go more formal when in the presence of a beautiful woman." He winked.
"I am so sorry about all of that! I'm afraid I lost control of my ship long before it entered the wormhole that brought it to your galaxy. What ever was fired at my vessel really fried the circuits. I couldn't even get the coffee machine to stop working!" Sol shook his head and chuckled. "Really, you dont have to be sorry. I am not in the least upset over it. I have a contractor coming tomorrow to take a look at the damages and make a plan for moving forward." He answered, shaking his head.
"Excuse me a moment, I better try to find out if anything is retrievable. Uhm, don't panic, okay?" Sol watched her shift and chuckled. The idea of panicking when he turned into a 12 foot flaming demon amused him. He waited patiently, his feet in the water. The cool liquid warmed in a small radius around him, making the shock of the water less on his skin.
"Well, I don't think anything is salvageable . . . the water has ruined all of the electronics, I don't think the ship itself will ever be operational. Oh, oops, sorry, I keep destroying your house, I guess the stone wasn't as strong as what we use back home for our claws . . . I really am sorry about that! Mind helping me out though?" Sol thought about it as he stood and reached for her hands to help her out. "I could perhaps try drying things... Heat and fire are kind of my specialties..." He laughed, a glitter of gold echoing through his eyes. "I cant say that I am upset with the wanton destruction of my home. I have been meaning to contact someone to fix up the house to something more connected with my thoughts. I bought the house and havent done a whole lot with it. You might have to help me come up with a new plan for it though." He teased, smiling softly at the little creature.

It was with a delighted smile that the male offered something called a computer to be able to view a star chart, "Oh, that'd be perfect . . . uhm, what's a computer?" She added after a moment, wondering if it was a type of document? Or perhaps a machine? At his next words however, Bel grinned brightly at him, "Well, then, can't be too upset if formality if that's the reason for it." She stated with a laugh that bubbled like a creek over rocks, her dark eyes watching him curiously. She was still a touch upset about his home however. She'd apparently redone a number on it. It looked DREADFUL. "I still feel bad about it. I hope it gets fixed quickly for you!" She told him earnestly, as he led the way towards the water. Diving in was a relief she wasn't aware she was missing though, the water wrapping around her scales.
It didn't make the scene of her poor ship any easier to swallow however. Goodness, it was a mess. Resurfacing, she was surprised by the warmer water around him, even as she told him of her findings, asking for a hand up. As his hand touched hers, she realized just how warm he really was, and tilted her head when he commented on heat and fire being a speciality, "I'd assume that's why your skin feels like a furnace then?" She mused, glancing up and noting the flecked gold in his gaze, as she stepped onto pool edge in front of him, keeping her hand in his for the moment as he spoke about the destruction of the home. The further reassurances did help this time, her smile bright as she glanced up at him and the towards him home before he suggested that she might need to help him come up with a new plan. She blinked in surprise, glancing back up at him, having to tilt her head back slightly to meet his eyes, her blonde hair tumbling down her back in wet clumps, "My help? What could I help with? Why would you want my help?" She asked curiously, even as she stepped a little closer to his warmth, shifting so a less dry side was facing him, casually using him as a heater with a playful little smile, "I don't know the first thing about this Earth's homes anyway." There was a sudden pause at that thought.
In an instant she had pulled away from him, her hands dropping his as she looked around, "Your planet? Has your planet had first contact yet? Are you aware of existence of others?" She asked quickly, wrapping her arms around the soaked sweater as she glanced around for anyone who might see her glowing like a star in his back yard, "Or do I need to keep myself a secret?" She added worriedly, looking around before grabbing his hand in hers and pulling him towards the house, where she could hide behind the walls just in case, having heard stories of what happened to unsuspecting aliens who made contact with the wrong planets, "I need to figure out what I'm going to do while I'm stuck on your planet as well . . . What type of currency does this planet use? How easy is it to find a place to stay?" A pause, before she turned her eyes up to him, her lips turning up into a soft, smile, batting her eyelashes as she fiddled with the bottom of his sweater nervously, "Or . . . maybe I can just stay here? Seems like the easiest idea? My ship is here and there'd be less questions of where I came from too . . . if you don't . . . If you don't mind, could I stay? Please?"

"Oh, that'd be perfect . . . uhm, what's a computer?" Sol lifted an eyebrow and shook his head. How in the world did he explain an computer? Her ship must have had computer systems of some sort, right? "Um... A computer is a machine that can connect to a wide array of information for browsing and learning... or shopping... or entertainment." Oh goodness... trying to explain this when he was no computer person on his own.
"Well, then, can't be too upset if formality if that's the reason for it. I still feel bad about it. I hope it gets fixed quickly for you!" Sol laughed and smiled at her, his white teeth catching the fading light. "I am sure it will.. Usually the contractor is here and gets down to work really quickly, at least in my experience." He answered, his features softened with the happiness that was unusual for the demon.
"I'd assume that's why your skin feels like a furnace then?" Sol coughed to cover a laugh. "Oh... you have no idea." He responded with a laugh, stepping a few feet away and shifting into his demon form. The twelve foot tall, brawny male ran a glowing red hand through his long black hair and glanced down at the flames that were sprouting about his feet. Giving her ample time to take in the massive being that he could shift to, he shifted back and adjusted his button down shirt to sit correctly. "Yeah... furnace... good description."
"My help? What could I help with? Why would you want my help? I don't know the first thing about this Earth's homes anyway." Sol snorted. "Earth homes can be boring. Perhaps you can help it to be more fun and functional in a more extravagant way." He answered, glancing at the kitchen that was rather small and utilitarian and then the living room that was oddly placed.
"Your planet? Has your planet had first contact yet? Are you aware of existence of others? Or do I need to keep myself a secret?" Sol stared at her, his brows furrowed as he tried to make sense of her words. "Planet... Um... This is the only planet that I have been on... There are plenty of various supernatural beings in the city. If you want to keep secret, that is your choice completely." He answered, not sure what she wanted to hear from him.
"I need to figure out what I'm going to do while I'm stuck on your planet as well . . . What type of currency does this planet use? How easy is it to find a place to stay? Or . . . maybe I can just stay here? Seems like the easiest idea? My ship is here and there'd be less questions of where I came from too . . . if you don't . . . If you don't mind, could I stay? Please?" Sol chuckled as he took in the bombardment of questions. "We use dollars and coins. It is fairly easy to earn if you have a job of some sort. In terms of a place to stay, you are more than welcome to stay here. I have a spare bedroom that is all yours if you want. Fortunately I have tomorrow off from work, so I have no where to go for a while." He explained the best he could as he led the frightened alien through the house and to the spare bedroom that was separated from his own by a bathroom.

The little alien tilted her head curiously as the male started to explain the computer, her expression shifting from surprise to shock, to wonder, "It can do all of that, really? When can we use it?" She asked in surprise, blinking up at him in wonder, before being forced to apologize for the right mess she made of the demon's home. His laugh helped reassure her further that he didn't really mind, however. She was curious to see how those of Earth handled the building of their homes, however, the idea exciting her and filling her with curiosity, "And this . . . contractor will be here tomorrow, oh I can't wait to see how this all works!" She squealed happily, clasping her hands in front of her before speaking in regards to his skin tone. His words surprised her however, before he stepped back, and his sudden shift appearance through her for a loop as he suddenly grew taller, so much taller, his hair growing long, flames and red skin, and goodness, he was tall . . . tall and felt like he radiated heat, much more so than before. He shifted back, adjusting the ruffled shirt he'd been wearing, and her hands instinctly went up to straight the collar for him from where he'd over looked an odd flip, "Very fitting indeed! It's fascinating!" She stated with a delighted expression, "How do you handle that much heat, I'd imagine it'd be unpleasant especially during your heated months . . . uhm, Summer?" Her expression had ruffled slightly as she tried to make sure that her English had been correct.
She glanced at him when she asked how she could help design the home, and was surprised by his explanation of the homes typically being boring, wanting something more fun and functional, but extravagant. She giggled faintly, "I doubt my expertise would help too much, my people are of the water . . . you're hot . . ." She paused at the word, brow ruffling correctly, "Uhm, that is the correct term, is it not. The language skills I, uh, 'borrowed' from you have a multitude of meanings of that word when applied to an individual. Perhaps it'd be better to phrase it as you radiating heat? Not that you're not attractive of course, but that's not at all the point I'm trying to make. Either way, your English Language is odd . . . but as I was saying, my people are of the water, our homes typically reflect that, built on or in the water, powered by water, that sort of thing. It's quite difficult to explain with out seeing it . . . Though I suppose some our general features, the open concepts and multitude of see-through walls . . . er. . . . windows? . . . could be used."
He was clearly confused by her questions about the planet, and she smiled apologetically, "I'm probably making little sense, my use of your language is rudimentary in many ways, it's difficult to find a proper way to express what I'm trying to say. I can understand this plant, your Earth having unique creatures, but unless the . . . oh, what would be the closest English translation . . . the Intergalatic . . . Union . . . of . . . . you call us Extraterrestrials? I don't even know if I should be offended or not! Regardless, if they haven't reached out to this Earth to initiate contact and inform your planet that there are other life in the galaxies, I'm . . . technically not suppose to reveal myself if I can help it. I won't get in trouble for you being aware, of course, I can hardly be held responsible for what happened to my vessel. But I'll have to make sure to keep who I am a secret . . . She paused then, glancing at the glowing markings on her skin, eyeing the male, "I don't suppose you have any . . . supernatural beings who glow do you? That I might be able to claim relations with?"
There was a since of relief when he took her questions in stride, as well as allowing her to stay in his home, going so far to lead her to the bedroom she could use, "I likely do not have enough information, or comprehension of your language yet to . . .get a job? Profession perhaps? She admitted, shifting to lean against the doorway of her new room, "I have a feeling it might take me longer that I hope, or expect, to truly get a handle on what this . . . world is all about. But . . . I am grateful for the place to stay. It's one less worry . . . . on my shoulders?" Yes this language truly was odd, that much she could be certain of.

"It can do all of that, really? When can we use it?" Sol chuckled as he dipped his head. "Why dont we wait until morning? It is getting rather late and you have had one heck of a day." He said kindly, glad that his computer was not in the way of the mess that her ship had caused. He glanced at the clock and sighed. Yep, it was getting late and he was used to waking early to head to the stables. He even woke early on his days off thanks to it.
"And this . . . contractor will be here tomorrow, oh I can't wait to see how this all works!" Sol chuckled again. The little creature was infectious with her curiosity. "Tomorrow will be more like a meeting... The contractor will be here to look at the damages and make a plan how to move forward. We will then sit down and discuss changes to the house and a quoted budget. Then he will likely start working the next day on getting things fixed. The house will look like a war zone, but it will be worth it in the end." He did his best to explain the process, wanting her to know that it would likely take a week or two before the house was put back together. Possibly more depending on the damage and changes.
"Very fitting indeed! It's fascinating! How do you handle that much heat, I'd imagine it'd be unpleasant especially during your heated months . . . uhm, Summer?" Sol paused as he considered her question. "Honestly... I dont notice the temperature. My body keeps a pretty stable temperature, higher than anything that nature can throw at me usually. Even in winter, when the temperatures drop quite a bit, I am usually comfortable with just a long sleeved shirt and no heavier layers. Do temperatures bother you when they get hotter or colder?" He asked, genuinely curious as to how different the little creature was to him.
"I suppose some our general features, the open concepts and multitude of see-through walls . . . er. . . . windows? . . . could be used." Sol snorted, grinning while his paler eyes glittered. "Compliment accepted." He teased before regaining his composure and looking at her. "Anything would be better than the very generic block style that the house was built in. Windows are great for letting in light and making the house seem more open. More open concept makes it easier to travel through the house without any issues. Colors can make things put off different vibes, blues can be calming or soothing, reds can be passionate... " He trailed off there, remembering that she had woke in his room, which was colored with many reds and oranges. Sol had a moment of wondering what she would make of that with the information that he had passed to her.
"That I might be able to claim relations with?" Sol smiled as he listened to her debating the language and trying to understand it. "Unfortunately, English is one of the hardest to make sense of.... Glowing beings... Hmm..." He paused to try to think of any. "I cant think of any, but then I am not the expert on beings. I have always stayed more to myself. Well, myself and the horses at the stable." He laughed off the disappointment that he couldnt explain things better and make her feel more at ease about the place that she had crashed. "It's one less worry . . . . on my shoulders?" Sol beamed at her and nodded. "Take all of the time that you need. You are more than welcome to stay here as long as you desire. I will do my best to answer questions and try to make things as easy as I can for you." He said gently, a part of him hoping that she would stay for a while. Sol was not one for visitors, usually more of a lone wolf. But being alone was a lonely way to live. He had found himself smiling more and more with her there.

[googlefont="La Belle Aurore:400"] [attr="class","day"] WORDS - thoughts
Bel was more than curious about what kind of technological advances these individuals of Earth might have made, what all they might have going for them. It was an abundance of curiosity, an abundance of new knowledge, and she had her own earthling to answer every question she might have. Thankfully, he didn't seem disturbed by her multitude of questions thus far either. At the suggestion of waiting until morning, the little alien had to pout slightly, huffing even as she nodded slightly, "Alright, in the morning. But only because you are correct, it has been a rather tiring day. I did crash land an alien space ship after all." She admitted with a giggle. Of course, the excitement that continued to course through her tiny body didn't mean it would be easy to convince her to go to bed, there was just so much new going on.
As Sol explained more about the interactions of tomorrow - meeting with the 'contractor' to discuss plans and damages, and to make a budget. She listened eagerly to his explanation as he cautioned that the house would end appearing like a warzone. She frowned lightly, tilting her head to the side ever so slightly, "Uhm, I think it already looks a little like a battle has taken place." She admitted, motion to the shaved away roof that had been destroyed during the descent her ship had made into his pool. "I feel as if I should apologize again for that." She added, pulling her long white hair over her shoulder, and combing her fingers through it, the ends misting a little more from her ministrations.
Of course, her curiosity wouldn't stop there and when faced with a creature who could shift into a firey being, she had a whole new set of questions to ask. He answered to the best of his ability, of not needing extra layers in winter, and his body staying fairly stable to not notice the temperatures. At his questions in return, the alien paused slightly, curious at his words, "I am . . . not certain. Back home we live a lot of the time in the water, or at the very least at the edge of it. And we do not have too much in terms of fluctuating temperatures due to that fact - and the fact where we live tends to keep its temperature all through the year. I have not experienced proper changing of temperatures. However, we tend to be able to regulate ourselves well in winter, and the mist my hair produces keeps our skin hydrated as we can dry out easily under the sun." She offered, already wondering what ways she could experiment with her own body's limits in this new climate.
The little female listened curiously to his words, before grinning brightly and moving towards him with a bounce to her step, grabbing his hands tightly, ignoring the slight sizzle as the hotter temperature was met with her the dampness of her fingers after the mist had wettened them again, "We'll have to compare ideas, make elaborate plans then, so you can like your home more . . . colors have meanings? I wonder if that has any reflection to my people and the colors we shine? Though I don't know if I could be called calm by any degree of the word!" She admitted with a laugh, before tilting her head, "Although, shouldn't bedrooms promote sleepiness? Why would you paint yours in such bright colors?" Passionate . . . a flush stole across her features, tinging her skin purple instead of red, as made a connection to that word and bedrooms she hadn't been expecting and coughed slightly, "ANYWAY! You could definitely use a lot more clarity to your walls for sure, er . . . large windows I mean. And definitely a bigger, more open floor plan."
The alien wilted softly at the idea of not be able to explain away her unique appearance with a slight huff, before shaking her head slightly, "I'll figure something out, I'll just have to be careful. Until your planet has been approached by the Intergalatic Union, it'd be best no one is aware of what I am." She paused, suddenly turning back towards the demon, her hands grasping his tightly again and looking up at him with wide, glowing cyan eyes, "You won't tell anyone will you? That an alien crashlanded in your pool? Please keep my secret, Sol. I beg of you." She pleaded with wide eyed innocence, clinging tightly to his hands.
The last thing she needed was the I.U.E. being angry with her for spreading the truth before contact could be made - she'd already be in enough trouble for wrecking her ship! Of course, having a place to stay was a thrilling one, in which she reacted by leaping into his arms, and hugging him tightly, "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! I promise I'll be a good room-guest! You'll hardly notice I'm here, I'm sure!" She declared eagerly, excited that the invitation was open for as long as she might need. "I don't suppose . . . you'd be willing to teach me more about the culture of your planet would you? I'd hate to be caught out for not fitting the part." She added after she'd backed up again, her fingers toying with the edge of the long sweater she wear as she shuffled her feet slightly, before glancing up at him, "You'll help me fit in, will you not, Sol?"

Sol chuckled, glancing up at the mess of his house that was the direct result of her crashing said spaceship. "But I would bet that you are too energetic to just lay down and sleep... if you do lay down to sleep..." He trailed off, momentarily wondering what sleep looked like to her. He glanced at the watch on his wrist and laughed. "Morning is closer than you probably think. Laying down and letting your body recharge might be a good idea for a few hours." It was everything he could do not to let his mind wander into what she was used to on many different levels. Mentally shaking himself, he forced his thoughts to the present and smiled warmly at her. Sol found himself laughing again as he shook his head. "No need to apologize. It isnt like you were purposefully trying to destroy my home. I think I can forgive an accidental crash into my pool." He smiled softly, watching her fingers playing with the nearly translucent strands of her hair. It was hypnotizing to watch and he had to once again force himself to focus on what she was saying. The idea of this creature spending so much time in the water was mind blowing to the fire laced demon. He had never spent time in the water willingly, mostly because he tended to warm the water to boiling without meaning to and was always worried about those that were in the water around him. "I cannot help but be fascinated by the differences between us. I do wonder if you will be able to stay comfortable as the weather shifts through our world." He said, his voice and response carefully placed to not be too prying. Her excitement at helping him redesign his home made him smile. "Definitely more windows and openness. To me, reds and oranges are natural to my other form, so they provide a sense of grounding..." And many other things... but she was most likely not interested in him in that way. Heck, would she even be able to be interested? Would they be too different to really connect in a meaningful way? The myriad of thoughts raced through his mind as he pulled out a sketchbook and an image of the floor plan of the house. It was his habit to have multiple copies of anything, since he was prone to flaring up at terrible times and papers tend to ignite easily. He sketched out the basic outline of his house, as well as softer lines to indicate current walls inside. He then slid the sketchbook toward her with a nod. "Feel free to go at it. Draw what you think would look nice." He grinned, wondering how she would take that idea. Sol watched her emotions cross her features and nodded. "Your secret is safe with me, though we may need to figure out a way to explain you randomly showing up and staying with me." He remarked lightly, part of him wondering what she would say. "I am at your service, my lady. Any questions that you need to ask, information that you need, just say the word. I will do my best to make sure that you are informed when I can." He vowed, glancing at the sweater that was swallowing her and melding their scents into an intoxicating perfume. "Perhaps we can go shopping tomorrow to make sure you have at least a small wardrobe for being out and about in." He said reluctantly, a part of him enjoying the sight of her wrapped in his clothes.
