Her suitcases had been sent over yesterday as well as the few boxes of belongings that the runaway had collected in the last six or so years of her life, majority of the property having come during her years at Cry Wolf High. It was still a good few days before the start-up of school, but it wasn't uncommon for students to begin turning up early like this, and in all honesty, Cally was fairly grateful for the school being open so much for students. With so many kids forced out from home when powers manifest or having to escape uncomfortable situations, having a school that allowed students twenty-four access was a relief. Especially those like Cally whose only other home was on the streets (or in her case, the park). Not that many would be aware she made a home for herself in the park, she didn't exactly live in the public eye, her energy either flowing into the leylines of nature or sending herself to the carefully constructed cavern home within the park she'd spent a year developing. A perfect sanctuary for a goddess reincarnation. But it was time to return to school, and she was eager to see what this year would bring. Would she make friends with new roommates, would any of them be the same from last year, or would they all be new? She knew some of them would be different. It was a process that took a good few hours, but as she stepped back the room was now filled with grass and flowers, and the young foot and a half tall sapling who seemed to shiver in delight. "I'll make sure you are all well cared for, I promise. Now, let me see what I can do for the rest of this dorm." She mused as she skipped back into the living space. Glancing around there was still no sign of any of her roommates, so she began adding the potted plants around casually - the ones that didn't need the environment of her room to survive. A large-leafed plant was situated in the corner, a handful of potted plants and succulents added to the coffee table, end tables, and even the counter in the makeshift 'kitchen' if you could call that a kitchen with just a mini-fridge, and a microwave - thankfully she had the hot plate in one of the boxes that just needed unpacking. Actually, maybe I should unpack that now, a cup of tea sounds lovely! She mused as she went digging through the box labeled 'Cally-Kitchenette', finding the item and placing it in the corner of the kitchenette, and plugging it in before turning it on. A few moments later had her kettle unearthed and filled with water, to be heated up. Grabbing a cup and a bag of a homemade tea blend (this one being Jasmine, Green Tea, and Rose-hip), she waited for the tea to whistle as she organized her shoes near the door, and began to place some of her common use items around the living room. Once finished (and the teapot singing) she made her cup of tea, turned on the tv and sat down to watch some tv as the succulents whispered to her about how exciting all of this was, and did she HEAR what the tree outside the front saw those two people doing last year, and every other piece of gossip they'd heard on the way here. A fond smile touched her face as she split her attention, plants were such great gossipers, even if half of it was false, it still never failed to amuse her.

He had turned towards her, pausing and raising a dark eyebrow, before commenting about dropping his stuff off and returning. Great. Introductions were in order. Cally should have hidden in her room. "You'll get bored soon enough, I'm sure." Gods above... This could be torture if she kept shooting him down. It was like being kicked in the stomach every time she told him that he would not be able to change her mind. But it was also a challenge and Coy was one that adored a challenge. "You shall see... I do not back down from a challenge, no matter what others say. If you decide that I am interesting, then I am at least worming my way in to some extent..." He winked, his entire form shrouded with roguish amusement.

"The only family we'd ever had." Coy felt a stab of pure pain as he watched the emotions play over her face. The male decided then that he would do what he could to try to find those names... even if it meant appealing to the gods for help. Coy found himself determined to do whatever possible to try to make it better. Or as good as he possibly could. He would never be able to really make up for it, but he would do his best to try. "I know that my apology doesnt mean much, but I am truly sorry. If there was anything that I could do to erase that mistake, I would. That is probably the only real regret that Huehuecoyotl has." Coy murmured as his blue eyes darkened with pain.

"Stupid Goddess has my feelings all over the place and I don't like it." Coy nodded, his arms snaking around her and holding her tightly to his chest. "I do apologize again..." His soft words whispered into her curls as he tried to shelter her from the pain and sorrow. His hand slid up her side and to her chin, lifting her head so that he could see her eyes. "Truly... The promise to not back down from a challenge was both equally terrifying and thrilling, especially as she was the challenge in question. But he put the promise down on the table, telling her if she decided he was interesting he was making progress. Her lips twitched slightly, eyes glittering green as she tilted her head at him, "Well, you are cute." She mused with a shake of her head, smiling at him as one might at a tiny puppy. "But I'm not just some challenge you can beat. Do keep that in mind, yeah?" She warned a touch of extra ice in her voice at the warning. Cally sighed, wrapping her arms tightly around his shoulders, resting her cheek against his chest and yes closing as the sound of his heart beating steadily relaxed her just a touch more, "It's not really your fault - or his - she didn't tell either you about why the sinking bothered her. Silly Goddess." She mused quietly before tilting her head up with his guide, meeting his gaze, and this time when he complimented her, she accepted it with a smile, surprised when his lips touched her forehead. She tilted her head quizzically at him for a moment, before pressing up to her tiptoes and returning the kiss with one to his cheek, "Thank you." She responded with a smile, before disappearing from his arms in a flash of green glittering energy, her giggle echoing through his room as she used the leylines to return to the living room, "Come on, let's watch some tv, no more sadness. If you beat me to the couch, I'll let you choose what we watch." She offered, her voice echoing around him, puffs of glittered energy billowing in the air delicately to promise she was still in the room, "Ready. Set. Go!" Her energy flared along the ley lines, into the living room before she rematerialized onto the couch, purposely allowing the male to reach the couch first, so she could materialize laying down, and using his lap as a pillow, handing him the remote with a giggle. Yeah, she was going to enjoy having him as a roommate. He was cute, he was tempting . . . she'd have to remind herself constantly to not let herself lose her resolve though . . . it was slipping already.

Cute... She seriously called him cute... The thought alone made him want to glower in indignant irritation. "I hate to tell you, but cute is a word for woodland creatures and babies, not a fully grown man that is as gorgeous as I am." He raised one manicured eyebrow as he listened to her next words, smirking at the ice that she slipped into her voice. "No one said you were the challenge. Though getting your affection or even friendship seems to be quite the challenge." He smirked again, running a hand through his dark hair.

The goddess's words struck a chord within him and he dropped his gaze. "At this point, I believe that the blame is all mine... If I hadnt been trying to impress you, trying to infuriate Poseidon... So many ifs, but the bottom line is that I caused it." The colors in his hair brightened for a few moments as the god himself took stronger control. "If anyone should be angry, you have the full right to it. It isnt the first time that a prank has blown up in my face, and I can promise it wont be the last time with my track record." The colors disappeared as the god disappeared, leaving the godling in his place.

Her kiss on his cheek made him grin and he watched her take off to the couch. He carefully stuck close enough to her to be in the running, but he didnt fully extend as he let her beat him to the couch. Snagging the remote, he held it away from her and grinned. "You beat me... that means that you get to choose... But, what will I get for the remote?" He asked with a laugh, winking one vivid blue eye as he watched her. Yep. He was already pretty darn smitten with the other godling. Something about her was magnetic, like they had more between them that they didnt realize. Coy found himself trying to sift through the god's memories to a time where they may have been together, but couldnt find any. With a grin, he waited patently as his eyes roved over her curly hair and beautiful face.
