Mikhail stretched his rather large form, loving the feeling of the play of muscles in human form. Getting to his feet, he padded to the master bath to take a scalding hot shower. Fifteen minutes later, he was back in his bedroom and dressing. The knock at the door startled him and he glanced at the clock. The construction crews must be here to do the renovations. Jogging barefoot through the house, he opened the door and allowed them in. Excusing himself for a moment, he knocked on the bedroom that had been given to the creature that had destroyed his house. "Bel?" He called softly, not wanting to open the door and invade her privacy. "The construction crew is here to start work on the house, and I will be heading to the stables soon to meet another package." He continued following a soft rap on the door. "You are welcome to come with me if you want." Sol finished before heading to the kitchen to speak with the foreman of the crew.
While he laid out what he wanted changed and his budget, Sol made a large pot of coffee and set out mugs for the crew, himself, and Bel if she wanted some. A soft smile crossed his face and he poured a handful of mugs to pass out. Bel still hadnt appeared, and he was loathe to leave her alone with the crew. It wasnt that she was his by any means, rather he didnt want to chance her getting hurt with her curiosity. Sitting at the island, he pulled out the sketched floorplan idea and continued to discuss with the foreman.

[googlefont="La Belle Aurore:400"] [attr="class","day"] WORDS - thoughts
It was with a yawn, that the alien slowly blinked her eyes open, sitting up and letting the blankets pool around her waist as she rubbed at her eyes. Her head tilted towards the door, as she heard the familiar sound of Sol's feet moving across the floor, back in the direction of the kitchen. Other voices seemed to be murmuring outside her door and with a second yawn, the little alien crawled out of the bed to get ready. Her long hair hung in an ivory sheet around her face, and down her back as she made her way to her own bathroom, silently turning on the shower, and checking them temperature and adjusting it a little colder before stepping in.
The cold water cleared her senses as she started to wake up a little more, mist trailing off of the ends of her hair from where it naturally worked to keep her body temperature from plummeting in the cold shower, warming the bathroom despite the cold water. Stepping out a short while later, and getting dressed, the alien kept her hair long as her shirt and shawl flowed freely around her waist and hips, her leggings clinging to her soft curves. using a hairband to keep some of her hair out of her face, she braided the front around the flower band to hold it in, before finally walking out of her bedroom, and quietly making her way towards were Sol was sitting, cautiously giving space to the other Earthlings in the house.
Sitting down in the seat next to him, the alien yawned a second time, before shifting to lean against the warm demon, blinking her eyes as she looked up at him curiously, "We're going to the stables?" She asked curiously - not entirely sure what stables were, but being careful not to interrupt his conversation with the worker he was with. She slowly reached for a cup of the weird, dark liquid, sniffing it briefly before taking a cautious sip and immediately wrinkling her nose at the sharp, bitter taste, as she stared at the cup in surprise, her ivory hair falling over her shoulder as she slowly pushed the cup away again.

Mikhail and the contractor had nearly finished when Bel ambled in and he shot her a smile. Her reaction to the coffee was amusing to say the least and he paused to add cream and sugar to the bitter black liquid. "Maybe this will be more to your liking?" He murmured softly, his lips close to her cool cheek.
"I am actually expecting an equine delivery, so yep. That and I do need to check in on my charges and see that everything is as it should be. Not that I am in charge of the horses, mind you... but the students can be rather particular." He chuckled softly, nodding to the contractor as he excused himself to begin working. The stray thought hit him and he frowned. "Do you have horses and stables where you come from?" He asked softly, not trying to alert the humans working on the house as to her truths.

The little alien tilted her head to the side as she watched the demon touch up the cup of what she could only assume was some disgusting trick drink - other than the fact he was drinking it just fine. As he offered it back, whispering softly to her, she glanced up at him, feeling his hot breath against the natural coolness of her skin. She took the cup slowly, before taking another cautious sip, before giving Sol a vibrantly bright smile and taking another happy sip of the now better drink.
As he began to explain the need to visit the stables . . . for an equine delivery? . . . The words were in an okay order, but the alien had no idea what most of them meant, though she did smile and allow him to talk more. It wasn't until the contractor left however that she had to blush at the next question, her words soft, "Uhm, since I don't know what either of those are - I'm not entirely sure we do." She admitted, before standing and offer her hand to him, "So, show me what these . . . horses . . and stables . . are?" She asked, her eyes gleaming with curiosity and excitement.
