Not only a museum to show case finds from dig sites that the university takes it’s various students to, this museum also offers hands on training for museum studies, geology, anthropology, and other disciplines to learn how to handle artifacts, display them, prepare them after they’re brought into the museum and so much more. Not to mention it’s free to the public.

These animal pens, both indoor and outdoor, are a focus for those currently participating in Agriculture and Life Science courses, providing an in depth, and hands on experience in what it takes to actually properly raise animal and livestock in a controlled environment. While most of the animals kept are small, and fairly tame, it is still a fun place to look around.

A vast number of classrooms fill this sector, from classrooms within the museum, to locations outside to provide training in the field for a variety of disciplines. Whether students are learning about how to raise crops, rotate fields, handle livestock, tackling landscaping, or any other number of subjects, if it’s related to life and the environment – it can be found here.

These fields where introduced in part to cut costs on shipping food to the island, but now serve as a means of training students on how to raise crops, and the many number of studies that go along with it. With both hired help, and student assistance, these expansive fields help provide food not only for the university, but for Adamore as well.
