Appearance:
Personality:Andriana is slender, standing at 5’7, and weighing in at 130 Ibs. She is rather thin for her height, despite her slender build, though she is by no means underweight. Her musculature leans towards wiry, with surprising strength hidden beneath soft, pale white skin and light curves. Being a werewolf, she has that extra strength that does well in getting the upper hand in any of the fights she enters, as well as she doesn’t need to worry about being considered ‘a helpless female’, she more than makes up for that.
Her hair is one of her most notable features, a sable dark brown, nearly black at some times, and now and then she puts in red highlights, or curls it. Most often you’ll see her hair pulled to the sides in pigtails, or in a single low ponytail falling straight down her back. The ends of her hair just brush around mid-back when straight, and just at the end of her shoulder blades when curly. Occasionally the highlights she puts in are more of a hot pink in color, but generally they’re red.
Dria’s eyes are considered hazel, though in reality they’re more of a sea green, a blending of both blue and green, with a softer quality about them. Eyes a man can get lost in, her ma once said. But the lighting also determines the color as well, for the darker the lighting, the closer to black her eyes appear, and vice versa. On the times of the full moon, her eyes flare yellow, though as a wolf they’re more golden in appearance, matching up with the rest of her pack.
Most noted about her clothing style is that she likes wearing hats, or any other type of accessory. Bracelets, necklaces, earrings, you name it. As far as earrings go, she has her ears pierced six times. Twice in each lobe of her ears, and then the remaining three on each side, lined along the cartilage at the top of her ears. She also has her navel pierced, and has two tattoos. That of a wolf head on the small of her back, and a small sunburst on the inside of her left wrist.
Otherwise, her style tends towards showing off what she has, her long legs, most often with short shorts or a short skirt, and then cropped shirts or other manner of shortened tops. She isn’t afraid to show skin, and does so often, revealing a unique sense of style that she is more than happy to flaunt.
History:
- Emotional.
- As per usual of the werewolf species, she’s very emotional, tending to go with the flow, as well as being influenced by the surrounding crowd and emotions. She’s easily sent into sadness or anger, or even happiness, switching from one mood to the next before you can blink. Though most often she makes an effort to settle into her normal, happy and flirtatious attitude, the one that has gotten her through many a situation, and allows her to cover up any troubling thoughts or occurrences she remembers, endures, or doesn’t want anyone else to know about.
- Affectionate.
- She loves to dote on those she likes, or loves. Her family, for instance, her relatives, and her nephew. No matter what, she shows her love through physical things, hugs, kisses, just nearly anything one can think of, and it’s not like she does it in excess, just that she makes sure that you know she cares about you. It’s one of the things that’s most liked about her, for no one can ever doubt the strength of her affection if she shows it in her own ways. But it isn’t easy to earn her affections, because first you have to earn her trust, and then after you earn her trust, well, you’ll need time. It’s not an overnight thing, and never will be.
- Protective.
- Protective is an understatement. She’s quick to jump to the defense of others should she believe them to be in trouble, or under stress, and she makes sure to do everything in her power to make sure a situation is secure. To her, failing in her protection of someone is akin to killing them herself, no matter the situation, or the level of risk. It matters to her, her job does. And she doesn’t joke around, no matter what role she’s playing. Just because she’s a good actress doesn’t mean she’s going to feign anything when on the job.
- Temper.
- As affectionate as she is, her emotions come into play with a fierce kick, given her tendency of her temper being a mile wide. She doesn’t take much to set off, nor is it hard to rile her up. Especially if it’s not even directed at her, but at her friends and loved ones. Everything within her culminates into moments of intense anger that can strike fear into the most hardened of souls. And yet, she doesn’t yell, the angrier she gets. If she’s yelling, you know you’re safe. But the quieter and steadier her voice becomes, the more you should be afraid. She isn’t one to rile up.
- Rebellious.
- Ever since she was a young pup, rebellion was in her veins, coursing through her and influencing nearly all of her decisions. It wasn’t often that she followed the rules, and subsequently often earned grief because of it. Her grandmother never could truly keep up with her, even with the partial werewolf gene she had within her, it wasn’t enough. But she likes playing out of the rules, doesn’t see things in black and white, and if you try cowing her into doing what you wish, well, don’t be surprised when things explode in your face.
- Ambitious.
- Rising to the top is her desire. She wants a big family, many kids and a loving husband. She wants a chance to be her own person, free of her pack’s influences. She wants a good, strong home for her nephew, and a well-paying job that she loves. Andriana is ambitious to the point that everything she does, she does for her loved ones, for those under her protection and in order to get what she wants. She’s selfless that way. Always giving and rarely taking, it’s no surprise that she took a job as a bodyguard. Serving the people in ways that often save lives.
- Vegetarian.
- Odd, right? A werewolf being a vegetarian? Well, don’t doubt, it’s true. Ever since the accident those years ago, she’s refused to eat any meat since then, seeing it as a wrong and horrible thing for her to do, considering that little accident where she was almost the prey.
Odd guy she met, yeah, check her history. After that things were never the same, and she’s gone to appreciating the more green food types, as well as anything else. It’s not like she’s sworn off all animal products, just meat itself. Back with her pack, it had simply been wild game, for it wasn’t often that she would eat meat that was store-bought. But now in New Orleans, she doesn’t eat any meat, period.- Actress.
- As befitting her job description, Andri is a great actress. She holds her own in many situations, and doesn’t let anything faze her when on the job. It’s why her specialty is going undercover to offer protection to higher paying clients, ones with big enemies in high places. Not that she wouldn’t do the same for lower key situations, but in those cases, she usually isn’t needed to act. While she is a bodyguard full time, she does do odd little side acting jobs out of the local agency, and has a part time job waitressing at the local diner, though her schedule is obviously quite random. She does what she can, when she can. Anything to put a roof over her nephew’s head.
Name: ~Tarnished Copper~Andriana was born simultaneously of high rank and low rank. Her mother, the Alpha Female of her pack, had been raped by a bitten werewolf, her father, a notorious loner known for his rogue ways and troubling actions. She kept the child, Dria herself, because despite what her father had done, she loved the little were baby. And so she grew within her womb, unknowing to the rest of the world, even as her mother labored to ensure that her mate believed that she was carrying his child, not the other male’s.
When she was born, she was born through complications, and her mother died shortly after giving her, her name and speaking one word. ‘Beautiful’. It wasn’t long until her mate realized that the child wasn’t in fact his own, and he knew with certainty in his mind that this child could be the daughter of none other than the lone werewolf wreaking havoc among the clan. And so he set to kill the abomination child, grief, pain and anger driving him to near madness.
But her birth father’s grandmother, a bitten werewolf herself, stepped in and petioned for her life. If she left the clan then she would be allowed life. And the alpha male granted it, telling them to get out of his sight and never return. So they did. Andriana and her grandmother ventured forth, traveling from place to place, but never leaving their home lands in Canada. She couldn’t bear to.
When Dri was sixteen, her grandmother was killed during a hunt, and she was left on her own, to fend for herself. She lived on her own for a number of years before even encountering another face to face. A hunter, with an unholy taste for wolven flesh. Specifically werewolf flesh. So he tried to kill her, nearly succeeding, showing her just what it felt like to be hunted, to be prey. Since then she swore off of meat, instead referring to vegetables and other manners of food to sustain her.
She returned to the pack when she was nineteen, and learned that the old alpha male had been killed in a fight for power, and that the winner was her older half-brother. She was glad he’d won, for despite the way he’d earned his right, he was a kind man, a fair man, and a born leader, just like his father had been before his mate’s death drove him off the edge. She discovered he’d lost his mate as well, not six months, leaving his eleven year old son without a mother.
Andriana was accepted back into the pack, forgiven of what the former alpha had accused her of, and she was shown to be well loved among their clan. She lived that way for a few months, gaining the trust and love of her nephew, doting upon him as if he were her own son. Then one day came that the same hunter she’d escaped from had somehow tracked her here, and in the fight to keep the clan safe, their alpha male was killed, along with the hunter himself.
His son was left orphaned, no one left, and, Dria, recognizing the same situation she herself had been in, took responsibility of him and soon moved them away. She knew that the old packlands held too many painful memories, and thus resolved to make it better, to find a new home, a home in the US. So they moved around a few times, until learning of the school for supernaturals, Cry Wolf High.
Dria decided that it would be a great chance to get her nephew involved in the world once more, and to make some friends that weren’t necessarily pack, and so she enrolled him, using nearly all the money she had to buy them an old house on the fringe of the city. They moved in not long after, using nearly the entire summer to repair the house to nearly its old glory, with Dri working a part time job waitressing, and a part time job with acting.
But her real desire was to help others, so she applied for a position at Blazer’s Security Firm, landing a job and starting what she thought of as her dream job. Granted it was hard, earning enough money for her house and to provide the best life she could for her nephew, and times got hard sometimes, where she would often resort to hunting in order to feed him and save money, but they got through, ending up where they are at the moment, with her nephew in school as a freshman for the first time.
