Appearance:

Peter is rather handsome. He has cerulean blue eyes and a very angular face with a chiseled and slightly pointed jaw and elven ears but the rest of the features on his head are smooth, aside from his stubbly 5'o'clock shadow. He usually keeps his sandy blonde hair cut short and spikes it slightly, but just enough to have shape.

He has a lean, 6 foot frame with nicely shaped muscles that are balanced out by the slightly thinner areas, such as his forearms, waist, and most of his upper torso, but even though his upper torso is thin, it is fit and shaped.

He is usually found wearing short sleeves, jeans and cowboy boots in either dark brown or black.

Personality:

Peter is usually a very laid back soul. He loves having fun and making people laugh. If he can make someone smile, he feels complete.

HOW HE IS ALONE:
When Peter is alone he doesn't act much different, he is usually recording music in a back studio he built behind his apartment.
If he isn't recording music, he's swimming in the Mississippi river or performing at the local clubs/bars.

HOW HE IS IN PUBLIC:
When in public he is very fun and is known to be highly flirtatious towards women, but not in a creepy way, it's more polite than grungy; but even though he's a notorious flirt he is very charming and polite.
He knows how to be turned down and he takes it very well, and not only is he flirtatious with females, he generally gets along with everyone, however he isn't always at starting conversations.

HOW HE IS WITH FRIENDS & FAMILY:
Around friends and family Peter is still fun loving and will even show off, but not to the point of bragging. He would never do anything to make someone else feel inadequate or less than himself, he likes attention, but not enough to pull it away from a friend. He is very loyal and kind to the friends he makes. He gets along best with other water creatures mostly, but can mesh well with everyone as long as they aren't rude to anyone that he's become friends with.

History:

Peter was born on the southern coast of Australia to Monica and Lewis Devarious. He was an only child and got all their attention. His mother wasa mermaid and his father was a siren. They taught him how to swim and fully incorporated him into human civilization.
Everything went well for many years and they managed to keep their supernatural background a secret. When the surf was good they would pull him out of school and go swimming, visiting the depths of the ocean, so Peter was raised with respect for both humans and nature, but he was always forbidden to date humans. His parents forbidded it, but never explained why, and so Peter just assumed that his parents didn't want him to become emotionally attached to humans because even though he respected them, he understood that they were fragile and would never understand or accept the supernatural world, but the inevitable happened when he was 16.

He met a young lady with eyes of sapphire and a voice like an angel, they began secretly dating, but they were never intimate. This frustrated her and she eventually went and found intimacy elsewhere, while still in a relationship with Peter and when he found out, he was hurt and in a fit of rage he sang to her and lured her into a river and drowned her. When he realized what he'd done he ran away, hiding where ever he could and when he was old enough he traveled to the us and joined the Navy.

He blew through basic training like it was nothing and his superiors were impressed so they sent him out on a large ship. He held many positions on the ship, but his favorite was being a scout. He would go out on small life rafts and scout for enemy ships, although if he found one, he would usually cause them to alter course by brainwashing them with his singing.

The ship he was on never once experienced combat unless it was a test and he was proud of himself, but even though he succeeded, he could never get the girl out of his thoughts. His guilt began to eat away at him and he began drinking heavily, until he was honorably discharged from the navy and dropped off on a New Orleans' dock.
He got a job performing in clubs and bars for tips and saved enough money to buy a small apartment and build a small shack on his porch and turned it into a recording studio.
He's been in New Orleans for 6 months now and is still trying to find his way.
