Appearance:
Standing five foot seven, this woman is not what one would call short, yet not abnormally tall for her gender either, it is at a nice, slightly above average integer, and this makes her feel more relaxed, since she doesn’t have to wear heels to make up for that missed leverage above others, especially her male students who always have the need to intimidate her with their size, but combining this fact with her personality, they indeed are in for a surprise when they realize just what sort of trouble they dragged themselves into, and it has nothing to do with detentions. With such a petite yet curved softly frame as this mermaid’s, she weighs in at one hundred and twenty three pounds of sinew from her vicious swimming, spending all of her free time by the coast, where water is, so she doesn’t asphyxiate herself with a lack of water, for that would most certainly be a foolish thing to do, for she has no death wish. If one were to catch her in a more revealing swimsuit without touching the water, they would be witness to the ragged scar along the small expanse of her back, etched an inky black peculiarly, the shape as if a she had struggled around in tight bonds and hooks.Personality:
Mimi’s hair is naturally a mane of tousled waves, reaching down to her shoulders, perhaps an inch or two past that, occasionally straightened or intensely curled when she feels the need to toy around with its style. The follicles are a deep chestnut shade, ranging from a dark chocolate to a light cocoa depending on the time of the year, with nothing of her intentions doing so, must be something to do with the sun, she has never really figured it out, but it’s not as drastic as one would think, just a couple of tones lighter or darker. Being the kooky maiden that she is, the girl dies it with highlights once in a while, or just frosting the tips, the possible colors coming from scarlet to indigo and everything in between. Her voids are a light hazel, the base being a near golden-caramelized tint, the surrounding paints being that of brown and emerald, flecks of said illusions swirling around with one another to create enticing mosaics, and her lightly tanned skin brings those out, flesh baked softly from hours upon hours beneath the sun.
Giselle’s outfits correspond with her personality, flamboyant and energetic, vibrant colors all that they are made of, as if an artist, who was quite high on some unknown substance, was just dropping jars of paint onto a piece of cloth, and that is what you will find the teacher most likely downing herself in. That attire is nearly always accompanied by matching accessories, and while most would never find themselves dead wearing said articles of fabric, the Italian-Australian mix makes them fabulous, as if setting her new fashion statement that most will probably be wearing next week while she moves on to a new fad. If she is dipped into the ocean or really any body of water, the femme is shifted into her natural form of a mermaid, darting around with giggles and songs, her physique stream-lined as if morphed for speed, tail following the same creation. It’s scales are a path of dazzling colors, rainbow-hued to what even seems impossible, each one a different shade than the other, no two the same, even by just a darkening of one, but they are indeed all unique, making her easy to spot in the water, hence why her quickness assists her to escape.
Flamboyant. Call it creative or call it crazy, Mimi is one of a kind, be it with her style of clothing or her personality, for she always seems to have a special reserve of energy to last her to the end of time, never able to sit down and just relax, her hands forced to be doing something all seconds of the day just to keep herself entertained from lulling into a depressed boredom, for that never leads anywhere good, only forcing her to think and ponder to not fall asleep, and that leads to delving into her past, which she doesn’t like to do, for it was meant to stay under wraps for a reason. This girl always wears bright colors that could blind you if toned just another shade up, and her upbeat self always tries to make others happy as she is, just wanting to lighten up someone’s day, for that makes her feel joyous, to see the smiles present on everyone’s guises. Being a mermaid, the woman is extremely playful, especially when in the water, where she swims to her heart’s content, wishing she could find someone to spend time with her in the ocean, a person who loved the sea as much as she, for that was the friend she always wanted, who could connect with her. Maybe her outspoken nature will offend some in the future, for she always speaks what is on her mind, no matter the consequences, so whenever she is in trouble, most can already guess that she tangoed with the wrong person this time around, telling them something that they obviously didn’t want to hear, but that minuscule detail going over her head in a manner so oblivious that maybe she would have been working a desk job than surrounding herself with mischievous students, though her own curiosity rivals theirs.History:
Athletic. Sports of all kinds are like Mimi’s passion, she loves to flop around and waste away that bundled up energy, and maybe that is why when she isn’t at work, you will see her out in the fields with a ball, or even better, water activities, which are her favorite, swimming in particular, for that is what mermaids were made to do, dive to the deepest crevices and discover all that they can, bringing it back to decorate their homes with the exotic shells and jewels, and having an eye for anything shiny or colorful, this girl manages to line her walls with the most peculiar objects you will ever see, be it the pelts of octopi or the hollowed teeth of ancient whales. This dame is known for eating quite a bit, and you would wonder, along with her high metabolism, what keeps her from gaining abundant amounts of weight, and the answer is obviously that she burns it off with her constant exercising, even integrating at least three hours of said movement into her life by jogging in place while making breakfast, or just plain zooming around the classroom while her pupils are off in the hallways, mingling around in between classes, she is definitely one strange maiden. Though to balance along with this trait, the girl is very intelligent, especially in the linguistic departments, or anything visory, for she captures nearly everything she sees into little photographs within her mind, and when she puts her heart to actually studying, the vixen is intent on learning everything she can about the subject before moving on to the next interest, these obsessions lasting from days to years, her most recent one being that of the human psychology, particularly that of any students view on their social ranking within the school, and how it affects their personality.
Creative. Painting, singing, playing an instrument, anything that allows the woman to touch or see is instantly one of her favorite things in the world, for Giselle adores to splurge her feelings on to anything that is present for her to explore, her ability to vent out feelings without words absolutely splendid, to which you might find random portraits hung on her walls of the randomest of subjects, she just splatters and swerves to fume out on a canvas, yet they most certainly have a blessing of being so colored, only a select few being dark, usually during her saddest days. This mermaid loves to sing, and while she is obviously not as good as a siren with their seductive croonings, nor as pitch-perfect as a canary, she has pleasant coloratura chords that spill from her larynx when the time calls for it, having always had been a way for her to ease up the stress within her emotion, along with touching upon instruments, loving to educate herself on how to play them, such as the harp or the violin, delicately strung. When it comes to making clothing, the teacher has a room in her cozy house just for the purpose of sewing and what-not, where she draws out her ideas, and then puffs life into them, most of her attire being of her own brain, hence why she has begun her own line of outfits, its uniqueness appealing to some, gaining more popularity as time goes on, and maybe if her life had turned down a different path, she could have been a designer, but the maiden is content with just being an educator, to pass on knowledge to the youth, it is her upmost passion.
Born in the heart of Australia to an Aussie father and Italian mother, Ella inherited genes from both sides of the family, mainly those of her dam’s energy and her sire’s intelligence, though there was something up with this kin, as to be told by the neighbors, for both the little girl and the only other femme in the household were never there, only the ever so loyal papa, who waited until the nighttime to see his baby and wife, for she was a mermaid, as was her kid, and they were bound to the sea, becoming very uncomfortable when faced with the negatives of land, their legs just not as safe out on the ground as they were in the forms of fins out in the ocean, where they could swim to the best of their delight, and life was perfect, the girl slowly learning to migrate on to the earthen domain for more than a couple of hours at a time, almost reaching a day before she had to dive back into her native home, and so she was sealed with her fate for nearly ten years, still a little kid as she swum around and attended school down in Atlantis, her home away from home, where she was accepted.Name: SilentCallings<3
She excelled in her academics and sports, friendly to all those she met, and she had a loving time down there, time flying until she reached her teenage years at high school, which was when she was a junior and had been messing around with a couple of her friends, when they dared her to go with them and toy with some humans, though what they didn’t expect for the vixen to become entranced by this one human boy, oh so charming with that grin of his, and it was like love at first sight, the male not at all creeped out by her supernatural self, instead intrigued, though something strange lurked in the air with his interest, for it seemed to be more like an… obsession. She would visit him, Leonardo, every day, perching herself on the same rock at night, where the silvery moonlight shone at its best, and he would row out in his boat to chat with her, but one day, he was late, oh so late, to the point where the girl was about to go home when she heard the sound of a fog horn.
Mimi was so frightened, for then an luminous light cast upon her petite form, to which she dove into the water, wanting to swim away, but the light had momentarily blinded her to the point where she was like a fish out of the ocean, just darting around aimlessly, only to feel a heavy net envelope itself around her, immobilizing the teen, only for her to be pulled out, tossed on to the deck, where she looked around, now able to see, and there was the face, of Leo, with his family all around, that same crazed expression on their guises as they prodded at her, cackling about having found a mermaid, dragging her into the storage room of their ship, where the vixen saw all the pictures, books, maps, all about her species, and she struggled, the bindings of the net digging into her flesh, especially her back, and she tried hopping backwards, to get away from this horrid knowledge, accidentally impaling her lower back on a hook that was hanging low on the wall, giving her the ragged scar she has nowadays, and just the blood loss from the injury caused her to collapse from her body wearing itself out so much.
When the woman awoke, her hair was being stroked by her attentive mother, to which she cried, not knowing how she was rescued, though she knew it had something to do with her father, for he was wrapped in bandages, though ever so sunny, not telling her what had happened, and most would think that she was afraid of humans after this incident, but she was not, instead curious, for she knew that not all of them were bad, for her daddy was one, and he had never laid a hand upon her or her mama. As expected, life went on, she graduated and went to an on-land college by the shores, to which she earned a degree for her teaching, only to do the same down in Atlantis, having now a duel-education certification, and she stayed down there, educating students despite her young age, until she and an abundance of teens have been transferred to Cry Wolf High, where she intends to make her mark as the flamboyant teacher, definitely worming her way into the hearts of some, or the death wishes of others, though as long as she passes on knowledge to the youth, she is content with her simple life.
