Appearance:
Not especially tall, Caly stands at 5'8 and weighs roughly 110 lbs. Height and weight however are minor aspects of this being for her beauty undermines all physical factors. Some say she is skinny and some say she's curvy when in fact, she couldn't care less. She likes to party and likes her food but she keeps tabs on her weight and is very careful about it. Calypsa has skinny legs and small feet that always sport neatly painted toenails in one colour or another. Being a witch, it seems, has its perks, beauty being one of them. A stunning woman she is, that is a fact. Something everyone notices though is her skill with styling, and she often styles her hair in many different ways, though sometimes a simple pony-tail suffices her desires.Personality:
Calypsa has long, naturally dark brown wavy hair that in bright sunlight reveals shades of dark red and in dull light can sometimes be seen to have paler browny blonde tones. This girl has tanned skin, milky tanned if you will. She has no visible spots or freckles although she does reveal dimples when she smiles, a trait some say is cute but a trait she truly hates. A pleasant image she is, dark molten chocolate brown eyes seem to pierce right through your soul despite their warm appearance. Curvy to a distinctly feminine level, Calypsa has a few minor tattoos but these are rarely seen but sometimes, when someone inquires, she may flaunt them...a little. Yes, she has pierced ears and some say a belly-button piercing as well, yet she denies this truthfully.
In times before Cry Wolf High, this girl had impeccably styled clothing but since she finds herself forced to wear a uniform of all things, Calypsa makes it known she really does hate it, yet she complies, even if that is with a deathly unpleasant frown on her sweet face. Now, she is a witch. And what does a witch have? A wand. Yes. Calypsa's wand, well, she is practically married to it. It's medium length and crafted of a white oak tree. So she has a smooth ivory wand of medium length that is fairly easy to conceal. But clothing is important to her so you should know about it. Calypsa wears many things but almost all of them are accompanied by an ankle length leather coat, usually jet black, that has a concealed pocket for her wand inside one of the pockets by her hips. It's a large pocket and inside it is a tiny zip only thin fingers can find and open, from where only fingers like Calypsa's can fish out her beloved wand.
Mean. An understatement if ever there was one. Calypsa is truly horrible and has a viciously sharp tongue that has been known to lower others' self esteem to such a low level that they would gladly hurl themselves of a cliff. She's crafty and clever with her insults and a true lover of mind games, she is certainly not predictable and even the teachers have a hard time predicting what she'll do in response to something. It is nearly always different. If she doesn't like you, Calypsa will play her cards cleverly and wait until the oppertune moment before letting you know you're on the dark side.History:
Talented. There are many hidden talents even Calypsa doesn't know she has. With an extensive knowledge of healing and a willingness to experiment, she is the perfect candidate to find new and unexplored powers. Academically bright as well, not only is she a sharp tongued vile hearted genius, she's also a secretive thing. She will never tell anyone about this but there is a soft side to her, where simple things like nature can get a warm smile on her face. She loves beaches and sunsets and is deeply curious about every species of existence and is eager to know more, to the point where she will be rather harsh to find out what she wants to know. There are a select few who know this side of her, yet none so far in Cry Wolf High, but maybe there is someone who could steal her heart without knowing it. Her soft side is a side she kept exclusive with her brother and since his disappearance, the kinder version no one knows is kept hidden and guarded away.
Calypsa hates, hates, hates mindless idiots. Those who speak then think. She finds them boring and dismisses them with a cold remark to get them thinking. She loves to cause trouble and test out people who she believes could provide some of her own special entertainment, but alas, there aren't may of those she's found. One thing she hates however, something that really gets on her nerves, is hair in the same style for two days in a row. With a violent temper, you wouldn't want to get this witch angry in a hurry. Complex and interesting, Calypsa doesn't fear many things...besides snakes which she has a terrible fear of. Unless of course they're doing her bidding, in which case, she loves them. Cockiness ultimately irritates her as does anyone who thinks they're superior if they aren't. Calypsa runs close to the boundary line on a daily basis, but usually escapes under the radar as she knows when to be tongue free and when to real it in and concentrate on studies. Goals are set high and usually scoffed at if voiced, but Calypsa dreams of being the most powerful witch in Cry Wolf High, but this ambition she knows she will not get with her volatile exterior.
Born with one older brother, Calypsa was the most unique of the two. Her brother was quiet, a bookworm and a historical nerd, much to his sister's boredom. Many a occasion she was caught being quite simply, horrible to him. But really, they were exceptionally close and he was very protective over her as she was him. Her mother was a Math teacher and her father was a doctor and both were devoted to Calypsa. On the odd occasion, she felt bad for her brother whom they never paid much attention to, however, he really helped her a lot with academic things. Very close to both her parents, her father was the type to be adventurous with her and also taught her various medicinal things despite her mother being focused on her academic work. Pushed hard by her mother but relaxed by her father, all was a little rocky for most of her life and Calypsa's brother really steadied her most of the time. With a Jamaican mother, it is surprising there is no hint of Jamaica in any part of Calypsa.Name: Legal
They were not rich, but they were certainly not poor but still, Calypsa's brother decided he'd do his best academically for the family and instructed Calypsa to do as she pleased school wise and that is what she is beginning to do recently. Since moving into Junior year, she's developed more into herself at Cry Wolf High. But until then, she was quietly talented but had a fierce temper that shocked many people. Now, she is not quiet at all.
However, something happened when Calypsa moved into her Somophore year - her brother who was, by that time, a Junior, vanished into thin air. This frightened the girl and as a Somophore, she began to be a lot colder and less pleasant, but as time has moved forward, the pain of his absence has dulled. Calypsa simply moved on with her life and has excelled greatly in her magical aspect, the aspect of school life she likes the most. So, as an academically bright girl and adventurous witch, she's always in search of something new and unknown. But still, she was as mean and bitter and unpleasant and cruel and dark as she had always been - nothing changed there.

It was dark, it was cold, but it was lovely all the same. The bitter chill of this winter night was what awoke the strange being within her, something no one ever saw, yet she barely knew it herself. It was the bit that reminded her of her brother. Oh the sweetly boring soul that helped her so much during her time as a Freshie. A bitter chill radiated with hatred at his vanishing act from her into the ebonite woodland then but her slender form, draped in clothing of dark hues, could not bear to be without his supportive touch much longer. It was true, within the heart of the coldest characters was a whirlwind of fragile pain that coursed through every inch of their being. With each thought of her missing brother, Calypsa's usually confident strides became timid, small and light. Each noise caused her heart to jump and each time she mentally scolded herself before a whirlwind of hatred stirred up inside her. The journey was tough if you fought with yourself, a common occurrence for this witch, yet shrouded in the cold dark night, it all calms down.
A steady sigh as she leans her back against a tree, the femme fishes her slender fingers into her ebony coat pocket, fingering open the zip that held her wand secure. Feeling that warmly familiar rush of magic coursing up her arm and into her heart with the instant she touched her wand cooled the fierce storm inside her and dulled the pain of her lost sibling. Revealing the wand to the air, dark orbs scan it in delight and a smirk plays her lips as the surrounding forest seems to stiffen in uncertainty. Not even mother nature could predict her, a comforting thought. The night crept onward, growing ever colder with each passing minute, yet Calypsa didn't shudder or shiver from the temperature. Cloaked in the ebonite hues of her ankle length coat, she didn't feel the biting chill nor the frozen fingertips of the wind that tried to pull her into a cocoon of shivering reflexes. A stray chocolate lock floated in front of the witch's pools but she didn't move it away, fixated upon the ivory craft that ebbed in her hands.
Again Calypsa sighed and slid her back down the rough bark of the tree until she sat at it's stump, pulling up her legs and wrapping her coat around herself as she held her wand in one tanned mitt. A chilled breeze twisted through the area and blew her neat hair to her shoulders, leaving a long wavy mop of chocolate strands to settle upon her sleek frame as she thought to herself, alone in a world of so many things. What should I do next, besides sit here all night? The girl said to herself, musical lyrics carrying an unsettling cold undertone. There was lots to do around here, that was for certain, but not a whole lot Calypsa could think of to do at this time of night. And seriously, what sort of person randomly walks of into the forest at, what, midnight? Chuckling to herself, the woman tossed her wand into the frigid air, watching it to a single rotation before she caught it again in her other hand. A frown creased her lips as she rested her head back on the tree and thought in silence as the wind toyed with her long locks.
