• Shy.
  • Cora is shy to an extreme. When she’s brought into the spotlight she freezes up, can’t speak, and if she does it’s only in soft tones, almost inaudible, and sometimes in halting, stuttering sentences. She doesn’t do well in crowds, doesn’t respond well to being made fun of, and she cries very easily. It doesn’t take much to get her to start crying, and while this may make her seem like a baby, she hates it. Hates that her response to everything is to cry her eyes out. Another reason why she runs away from any form of confrontation.
  
  
• Dual Personality.
  • When she sings, Corabella opens up, and becomes almost a different person entirely, confident, bold, wild, and sexy. If she isn’t singing, then she’s shy, sweet, fearful, submissive, and overall, a breakable person, one who is easily hurt. When she’s cornered, or confronted and becomes really scared and feels trapped, she’ll lash out, usually physically, but breaks down later on, and she cries often. When she sings, she takes on the persona of who she wants to be, locks her true self away in a corner of her mind and lets the more bold part of her take over. Those who’ve seen her sing, but don’t see her anywhere else would never recognize her.
  
  
• Prodigy.
  • Audrye is a prodigy child, excelling at playing piano, and, though her parents never took stock in it, singing. She grew up playing the piano from as soon as she could, hence her prodigy status. It’s not because she some genius child, it’s because her parents made her practice until her hands were sore, made her work and work and work to be the best, and only then did they allow her even the tiniest bit of freedom. On her own time, what little she had of it, Cora practiced her singing, using it as a retreat into herself when her parents were in bad moods.
  
  
• Sweet.
  • On the very, very, very slight chance one can get closer to her, get her to talk, she tends to talk quite a bit, but very hesitantly, and will quickly stop if something changes, or anything unexpected happens. She’s super sweet, kind and caring for others, always putting them first before anything. Cora’s the quiet one in the background, ready to step up and comfort another when they need it most. She’s not a take action, exact revenge kind of girl, she doesn’t have it in her, but she is there when she’s needed most.
  
  
• Submissive.
  • To say Cora is fearful is a massive understatement. Everything and anything elicits fear in the little shifter, prompting her to withdraw further and further within herself, until there’s nothing left but her submission and shyness. She will never ever meet anyone’s eyes, nor will she place herself in any sort of position that could be seen as mildly dominant. Cora keeps to herself, and likes it that way. In accordance to her fearful tendencies, and submissive persona, the fae tends to be rather breakable in spirit. It wouldn’t take much to break her, and lower her down to the deepest depths of depression. That’s why she always totters on the precipice, and anything from the lightest wind to the softest brush of anything could send her freefalling.
  
  
• Trusting.
  • It doesn’t take much to earn Cora’s trust. Nothing at all, really. You could say hello to her in the halls, and that would be all it takes. In all actuality, it takes a lot for someone to actual notice her, and not see just the wall behind her. For the most part everyone looks the other way, figuratively, and she’s invisible. She would give anything for someone to accept her as she is, and not try to make her into something she’s not. Far warning however. If you betray her trust you don’t get it back. Period.
