Appearance:
Fides is pretty short for a girl in general. She's right between 4'11" and 5', and hasn't grown since. She's slender (about 100 lbs), with a dancer's build. A cup, pokey wrists and shoulders. Her legs are sculpted, but more like twigs than branches.Personality:
Her skin is slightly on the paler side, like she doesn't spend much time outside, or is a redhead. It's blemished only by a moon-shaped scar on her tiny right wrist. Her hair is a silver blonde, and reaches the small of her back (though it's almost always swept to her front or in a braid so it doesn't get tangled in her wings). She has dark blue almost black eyes, like those of the night sky.
Her wings are like those of a Blue Morpho butterfly, blue with black edging. The blue is rather dark, compared to an actual Blue Morpho's though.
For tattoos, she has two. One of the star formation Draco on her left wrist, the other of a dogtag with the letters 'J H C' on her ankle. She has no piercings at all.
Fides likes to wear white teeshirts with slits for her wings and skinny jeans. It's nothing too too fancy, but it looks alright. On occasion, she does wear a loose-fitting teeshirt with stripes of almost every colour on it.
No matter how seemingly delicate faeries are, Fides tries to emit a tough image. She tries to convince others that she's not afraid of anything, or could beat people up rather satisfactorily.History:
Fides was always the hopeless romantic, and her idea of perfect was when James came under her window playing her favourite Taylor Swift song.
She's very adventurous and loves to explore and find new places. There's nothing she likes to do better than climb trees, fly to the top of skyscrapers, and fly over the ocean.
She's never been good at making friends, nor being popular. Fides keeps only two friends, and at most four. It's always been hard for her.
Fides is gentle with most. She wouldn't hurt a fly. The only thing she would hurt was an unfaithful boyfriend or a bully. But defenseless animals? HELL to the no!
Fides is a bit of a glee-club nerd. She loves broadway, dancing and singing, and dreams of winning nationals in a glee club.
Likes: Fides loves flying. Especially over water, under willow trees, or through the halls at school. She loves the night, as it was inherited from her parents. She loves Taylor Swift songs, Green Day and chocolate.
Dislikes: Fides hates meat, fire, war, rain on her wings, hateful people, and guns.
Secrets: She has no secrets (except the one that she tries to keep from everybody at the school, the fact that she, a faerie dated, kissed and truly fell in love with a human)
Goals: Fides has three goals. One, find her boyfriend, two, start her band and three, finish school.
On Midsummer night, Fides was born to two astrology faeries, and was their first child. They were overjoyed at the beautiful girl, and she was cuddled and raised well. They were sure she would be an amazing astrologer once she grew up.Name: Solis
At the age of five, on a warm summer day, they took their daughter to a park in a city of humans so she could experience what humans were. She was in a loose-fitting tee so nobody could tell she was a faerie, of course. That day, she met a boy named James. He was on the smaller side for an eight year old, and he didn't like playing football like the other boys so he was sitting on the side of where the other human boys were playing. She came and talked to him, and the two smiled and laughed until noon, when her parents brought her home. Every day afterwards, she would beg them to take her to the same park, where she would meet him. The two quickly became best friends.
One fall day, September first, she came to the park and he wasn't there. She waited for hours for him, but he never showed. Her parents picked her up as she sobbed, and took her home.
She returned every day that week, and on Saturday, she found him beneath a willow tree, with a pencil in his mouth. Overjoyed, she had ran straight to him and given him the hugest hug. The problem was, he hugged back, and immediately felt her wings. She let go at the same time he did, and saw his eyes wide with terror, and managed to explain that this was normal for her to him. He actually believed her, and they went on with being friends. He explained that he was gone to school on weekdays, but would show up every weekend to talk with her.
The time passed and autumn faded into winter. The snow came down hard and fast in the city where she would visit James, and Fides was really puzzled by it, as were her parents. How would they put her in a snowsuit? Would they find one loose-fitting enough so that her wings wouldn't be crushed? They couldn't find one, but instead they decided to let her visit the boy's house.
The day she turned seven, they began to put her in school. she began to learn math, science, and the history of her people, and got homework for the first time. She and James began to help each other with homework.
At the age of thirteen, she got her first kiss from him. They had just been working on arithmetic when he leaned in and... She had blushed and fled.
That day her parents had told her that she would find a nice faerie boy to settle down with eventually. They had always had a gentle yet firm hand when it came to things, but they had made certain that she would fall in love with a FAERIE boy. Fides was so afraid they would disaprove. The next day was sunday, and when asked if she wanted to go to James' house, she shouted a NO at her parents. They found nothing strange with it, and let it be.
That night, in her room in the astronomy tower, she heard a knock on her window, and upon opening it, found James waiting. under her window, with a boombox playing 'Love Story' by Taylor Swift. Of course, she ran outside, and kissed him, even if her parents were watching.
All the faeries on the street were looking out, curious at the music, and saw the Astronomer's daughter kissing a human. The neighbours weren't exactly too happy.
The next morning her parents were p-i-s-s-e-d. They homeschooled her the rest of the year, and the year afterwards. That didn't stop her from sneaking out to visit James every night.
When she reached Sophomore year, James joined the army. He told her so, in person, and slipped a promise ring on her finger, explaining that it meant he promised to come back safe and sound and slip a real ring on her finger. He was shipped out that summer, and she got letters from him every month, until September, Junior year, they stopped coming. That's when she got a letter from the government saying he was MIA.
That was when her parents intervened and sent her to Cry Wolf High. She's been here ever since, trying to start a band called 'How To Dismantle A Monkey'

Alex's eyes were as large as dinner plates. She was backstage, with her bandmates, drinking tons of water like it was the end of the world. It was finally her turn to audition. The girl shook slightly, nervous.
The announcer called their band's name, and she took a deep breath. Bringing another bottle of water with her, she picked up her bright blue microphone, tightened her rainbow-squared Converse, and stepped onstage.
The lights blinded her. The crowd was huge, and they all screamed the band's name. The green-eyed youth signaled her drummer to start their first song, 'Fairytail', and let the familiar beat lead her into the song. One last deep breath. Snow, her drummer screamed out "ONE TWO THREE FOUR" and they began.
"Puppets and Whales, Bunnies and Snails It's real.. Don't steal away a faerie's wings don't break down a vampire's door.
Fairytail! It's a Fairytail.. Cats and foxes on two feet, cats and giants. We ain't lying, just ask the lion! Fariytail..."
