Wings were out of sight as the fallen angel walked through the park. Long legs stretched out as she walked. Dressed in a long sleeved grey top, and a long black skirt, the angel actually almost appeared more approachable than usual. Her mood was much improved over what it had been over the past few months. It seemed that perhaps things were straightening out in the town and that maybe things would get back to normal...Well as normal as New Orleans could be.
As the angel came to a park bench, she sat down and stretched her legs out in front of her. Gently, she leaned back and tipped her head back. Her eyes closed slowly as she focused on breathing in the world around her...literally. The angel liked to feel the life around her, to be in tune with the world around her. With her eyes closed and her breath even, Morticia concentrated on feeling the life force of the trees as they produced oxygen, identifying with the people who passed her as she continued to sit there almost in hero own sort of dream land. Finally, the female opened her eyes and rocked forward still not sure what was in store for her in this brand new world.

[atrb=border,0,true][style=width:400px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 12px; color: c1825e; text-align: justify; padding-right: 15px]The demon-shape shifter mix walked through the park with her hands shoved her coat pockets. Bright, chestnut eyes gazed around at her surroundings as the slim frame moved across the sidewalk. Each breath came out in a small white puff in the crisp, chilly air. She had her mother’s looks and her father’s attitude. Or, well, what her father’s attitude used to be. It wasn’t always the best combination. Her demon side usually prevailed, as her shape shifter side was buried inside her. She hadn’t shifted in quite a long time. She usually tried to save it for if she really needed it. She was a freshman in high school now, though she had the mentality of someone much older. She had to, for the sake of her father. She mostly took care of their apartment while her father was out trying to scrounge up enough money to pay the rent and put some food on their table. Meanwhile, she kept her grades up on her own and offered herself out to people to clean their houses and babysit their kids. Any extra money helped, as her father’s music career wasn’t going as well as he wanted and her uncle had disappeared, just like her mother… Her life so far had molded her personality into what some people would call cold and closed off. But how could she let anyone in, when so many people had already left her life? She reserved her emotions for her father alone, who she knew needed them as much as he needed oxygen. She didn’t have friends. She had acquaintances. She wasn’t too fond of people. Sometimes she liked having conversations. She wasn’t an introvert either. She just preferred to not be involved in other people’s drama. She was lucky she had enough time in the day to take this walk through the park, let alone have time to deal with other people. Besides, having friends meant there was a chance they could leave her life and she just wasn’t up to dealing with that anymore. With a sigh she sat down on a bench, crossing her legs and leaning back, closing her eyes, enjoying the small time she had to relax. Count ;; 368 Tag ;; Morti Notes ;; outfit [/style] |

The angel was aware as a demon cross walked through the park. Having walked the earth for years protecting humans from themselves and demons, the angel was always aware of the beings around her. Though the girl was no threat to the humans as Morticia could see, she was also acutely aware that something was wrong with the girl. Something was bothering her. The angel fixed a liquid chocolate gaze on the girl as she tried to sense out what else the girl was made up of and to get a better idea of the girl's feelings before she decided whether to intervene or not.
As the girl sat down on a bench down from the angel, gently the tall fallen angel climbed to her feet. Though she usually didn't interact with other species outside of humans, this demon cross was young and seemed troubled. Morticia decided it was best to intervene early before the demon took out her problems on others as Morti had seen others in the past do. With long strides, she soon covered the distance between them and then sat on the edge of the bench. "Life got you down?" The question was simple and the angel did her best to appear nonchalant.

[atrb=border,0,true][style=width:400px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 12px; color: c1825e; text-align: justify; padding-right: 15px]Elaina’s eyes fluttered open as she felt the slight breeze of someone walking by her. Life got you down? Elaina lifted her head and looked over at the dark haired being sitting next to her. She blinked a few times and sat up straighter on the bench, sighing. There went her peace and quiet time. Mentally preparing herself to deal with civilization, she cleared her throat and answered the woman. ”Life is life, ya know? I’m just taking a moment to relax before I have to head home.” She looked away back down the path and glanced back at the woman, trying to decide if she could slink off back home or if she’d be better off just sitting here and making small talk with the woman. She didn’t think she would easily escape from the conversation, and she was rather cautious of this woman. Elaina had just been sitting there on the bench relaxing. Surely she had given no sign of being upset or anything? How did this woman know Elaina’s life was crap?
