It was a quiet evening, the sun setting in the west, creating a lovely lighting. The sky was a beautiful mixture of colors ranging from deep purple to bright pink with some yellow and orange to blend the colors together. A soft breeze brushed over the city, lightly stirring the branches of the trees. The garden in New Orleans actually looked... Nice despite the fact that everything was dead. And even though it was winter, there was no snow on the ground. In fact, the lowest temperature that the city had seen that year was 39. That was nothing compared to the 9 degrees they had been seeing in places up north like Kentucky. However, for New Orleans, it was cold. Most of the people in the area were wearing jackets wen they went outside, but no one was really out at the time. In fact, the park was pretty much deserted save for the one human.
Her name was Faith, and she sat alone, secluded and alone except for the birds that pecked at the ground around her. She wore a thick navy jacket with fur around the collar, zipped up to her chest. Her white sweater peeked through the gap in her jacket, and a pretty gold locket sat on her collar bone. Her petite hands rubbed her jeans gently. She had almost gotten over the deaths of her friends, though she would never forget them, she only visited their graves up to three times a week now, though she still shed tears when she saw the tombstones. But she did things like going to the park and going to the aquarium instead of spending every evening at the cemetery. It was more relaxing to not have to embrace their deaths every night. In fact, the evening in the park was nice, though getting cold.
Slowly, the human pulled herself to her feet and began walking back the way she had come, following the little path that wove through the park. It was steadily getting colder, and she wanted to get back to her dorm so that she could get into bed. She was content, relaxed and feeling safe, though with the night approaching, she knew that she needed to get back fast. She had already been attacked during the day and the night, and she was very fearful that she would again be attacked by a wretched man or group of men that had nothing better to do with their lives than to hurt others. Sighing softly, Faith reached up and gently played with her locket, humming a soft song as she walked.

Looking around as he entered the park the young dragon observed his surroundings as he happily drank the blood from the pack he had in his hands, to another person it would appear to be beetroot juice he was drinking and he preferred it stay that way it was bad enough that every dragon from Northern Ireland to as far away as Australia knew what he was and who he was. sighing to himself as he finished the pack off squeezing the last few drops out the bag cursing as he missed his mouth completely the blood instantly drying on his bare chest.
Adramelech had noticed the people he passed on the way here give him weird looks as if he was crazy or just completely out of his mind the truth of the matter was that he was absolutely one hundred percent both of those, that and add the fact that when you're a fire dragon you don't need to wear warm clothes well that being said he still had to abide by the laws of New Orleans so he wore Jeans and his usual old moth eaten beaten up Airwalks that looked like they were ready for the scrap heap.
Stopping for a brief moment he noticed someone walking towards the entrance to the park so swallowing his pride and his mistrust for bipeds owing to the fact he was technically until he tired of this fragile and annoying form, he carefully made his towards the young and for some unknown reason his deep crimson eyes noticed how beautiful she was he most definitely couldn't help noticing how the light danced through her hair.
Plucking up the courage he asked "Umm excuse me If I am being too forward but might I ask your name miss?" He must have looked quite the sight deep crimson hair to match his eyes and teeth as well only having a pair of jeans and Airwalks on, this stranger must have a million ideas running through her head most of which point back to and in his own mind it sounded normal from everyone else's perspective 'what a freak.'

The young girl's hair bounced gently around her face and shoulders, shining brilliantly in the evening sunlight. Her face was makeup free save for the little bit of eyeliner and mascara that she wore all the time. She shivered very slightly when the breeze blew her hair away from her neck, and she cuddled more into her coat. She was the most fragile being in the world of supernaturals, but she managed. She had had protectors to keep demons and vampires and other evil things away, but they had died to protect her. She was over having protectors. She refused to have another one. To her, having a protector just meant death, and she didn't want that. If she got in trouble, she could call the cops. She didn't want anyone else to die because of her. She was sick of death and she wanted to move on.
Suddenly, a male voice interrupted her thoughts, making her jump. Brown eyes wide, she stopped walking and turned to look at the man. The sight she saw, however, was quite interesting. The man stood before her, wearing only a pair of jeans and some shoes. Immediately, Faith put her hands on her coat. "Oh sir! Are you cold? You can have my jacket if you'd like. It won't fit you well, but it's warm." She spoke gently, her voice full of concern for the young man. Who knew? Perhaps he was homeless and didn't have the money to buy a jacket. She always had been too concerned with the well-being of others, never for herself. She watched him gently, only kindness in her eyes. Suddenly, though, she remembered his words from before and a small smile crossed her face. "Faith. My name is Faith."

Adramelech smiled and chuckled as he introduced himself"Nice to meet you Faith I'm Adramelech." Looking at the jacket he shook his head and chuckled again as he stepped toward Faith smiling as he took her hand in his shaking it flinching a little as his entire body cooled down causing his teeth to chatter, "Y-your s-s-sooo c-c-cold." Releasing her hand immediately he released a small jet of flame aiming at his body.
The flames instantly caused his body to reach it's usual temperature even if the weather called for other beings to wear warm clothes he didn't need them his body being more than suited to cold weather, Unsure as to whether the display of his powers had frightened the young woman at all in fact he was most likely unaware that he had revealed himself to be a dragon.
Panicking Adra reaches into his pockets to see if he has any more blood packs on him the sudden change in his bodies temperature and the power used to bring his body back to it's usual temperature causing his hunger to accelerate before he knew it he was falling to the ground as he pulled out a blood pack tearing it open with his deep blood red teeth he drank the crimson nectar quickly even spilling it down his chin and chest his heightened sense of smell allowing him to smell it drying as it hit his chest.
Breathing heavily as he tries to catch his breath "That's.. Better now.. I can think straight.. Could you help me up please Faith." Flashing a tooth smile the dragon held out his hand but this time took extra care to make sure his hand would warm up Faith's and not induce another attack.

Faith smiled hen he introduced himself as Adramelech, though she was still extremely worried about his current state of undress. He looked like he should be freezing! And any human would be. But... He was obviously a supernatural, the cold not bothering him one bit. She was used to that, though. She had gotten used to all of the supernaturals around to school and such. After all, Keanu, her best friend, had been a dragon. And really any other friends that she had had were supernaturals. Caleb was a dragon, Arson a siren, Tremaine a demon... She was used to it. In fact, the only human that she had come across was Brandon, and he had died with Ana a while back. Ana had been a supernatural too. It was the normal for the area, the many supernaturals and such. Plus, she had been attacked by a shifter and also a vampire with some followers of some kind. So she had good and bad experiencing with the other side, though mostly good.
The young blond immediately pulled her jacket fully back on when he refused it and then went to shake the man's hand. It was nice to be talking to someone again... After her many months of having no friends to accompany her. However, the man suddenly started shaking, and Faith took a step back before jumping back when he shot a fire ball at himself. Faith was frozen in shock, unsure of what to do. She hadn't meant to hurt him... She could never mean to hurt anyone, and it really surprised her that she had managed to hurt this man. But what surprised her even more was the sac that he pulled out, filled with blood, that he drank right from the bag. What in the world was this guy? A vampire? A dragon? She wasn't sure. When he was done with his little fit, Faith slowly reached down to grab his hand. "I'm sorry, sir. I really didn't mean to hurt-" A feeling of dizziness swept over Faith while she was speaking, and the last the she caught before falling into darkness was the feeling of falling forward. Whether she landed on or next to Adramelech, she didn't know, though she certainly hoped that she didn't hurt him more than she already had.

Adramelech waved off the apology unaware as to why faith thought she had hurt him it was quite the opposite he didn't want to hurt her it was weird for him to think of the well being of any creature other than those he killed in order to keep his mind at the perpetual breaking point that he was always fighting for control.
"It's O'right you din't-" Freezing mid sentence the dragon watched as the young lady who had been he couldn't say nice but hadn't tried to insult him or berate him for his dress sense fell in slow motion, In fact she was about to land right beside him unable to move most in part to the fact he didn't want anyone to get hurt around him with out thinking or even a moments self doubt a large torn leathery wing caught her seconds before she hit the roughly frozen ground.
Looking at Faith Adramelech smiled and shrugged as he began to speak not sure if it was just rambling or just his way of saying your welcome though he did at least owe her an apology & an explanation of sorts, muttering "Well here goes" to himself before actually addressing Faith. "Well where to begin am sorry for this and if you hadn't guessed by the lovely display of flames being expelled from my jaw am a dragon, although I have a defect I din't eat meat I din't drink water my only true source of nourishment is blood O negative is my favourite. I really hope that wing is comfortable."
Getting up slowly his wing cradling the to his knowledge unconscious woman as he walked towards a bench and set her down on it first before sitting down himself and waiting for her to come to.

Faith didn't like fainting, but it wasn't like if happened often. Just whenever she was... Well she didn't really know. She supposed if she knew when it was going to happen, then she could stop it. The sight of blood wasn't the greatest thing, but it didn't bother her every time she saw it. And she didn't just faint when she was afraid because then she would spend half her life unconscious. But just on rare occasions... When something freaked her out enough, she just... Fell over. It wasn't a big deal, though. She usually came to within a couple minutes, but sometimes it could be quite a while before she finally opened her eyes, especially if she hit her head. However, she hoped that the man would be nice enough to help her to a hospital if she hit her head... Then again... Maybe he would just drain her of all the blood in her body instead. That wouldn't be fun.
Faith wasn't sure how long it had been, but she finally came to, eyes blinking against the light as she shivered softly. It was cold out... Like really cold. A small whimper escaped her body as she say forward, rubbing her head lightly. "What in the world...?" Confusion was plain on the girl's face, and she looked around before settling her eyes on Adramelech. "You caught me?" Quickly, the young girl reached to touch her head and arms to feel for any blood of scabs. However, serif she had none, the blonde smiled very softly. "Thank you." Looking down at her hands in her lap, she thought for a moment before looking back up at him. "So you drink blood?"

folding his wings against his back not bothering to conceal them as his secret was out giving a grim smile reaching into the deep pockets of his jeans pulling out a flute with a jet black dragon's head on it "Aye I caught you and aye I drink blood sometimes wish I was normal, Wish I could enjoy the taste of meat and drink water like most other beings can." Sighing as he began to play a short but happy melody on the flute, the dragons thought drifted his eyes glazing over as the melodies tempo increased then slowed dramatically ending with a low sorrow filled tone.
Looking at Faith he shrugged before speaking once again "You don't seem all to worried about being sat next to a blood drinking dragon, You are if you don't mind my saying an odd one I mean no offence but it's true most people just look at me and keep their distance which doesn't bother me."Laughing at his own words Adramelech stowed the flute in his pockets where it had come from.

Faith truly wasn't worried about sitting next to a blood-drinking dragon. She figured he would have tried to attack her already, especially when she was unconscious, if he wanted her blood. Plus, she had a trust for dragons since two of her best friends had been dragons. She found them to be relatively gentle creatures toward her despite the fact that she was a human. She was weak and small and didn't have any abilities, but both dragons that she had known had treated her so kindly that it was hard, with her naivety, to not trust all dragons. She sa to the bench beside the other being, arms wrapped around herself as she shivered slightly against the cold. She listened to him play his song on his flute, and she looked at him softly before smiling when he was done. "That was pretty. You're really good at playing the flute."
Faith listened to the words that Adramelech spoke and she nodded softly. She supposed he was right... She was odd, and that didn't really bother her. She shrugged her shoulders gently, looking over at him. "I figured if you really wanted my blood, you would have taken it by now. Besides that, my running the other way would do nothing if you wanted me bad enough because you could easily catch me and then you would hurt me more anyways." She said, touching her arm where she still had a scar from being attacked, the mark hidden beneath layers of clothing. She hadn't tried to run then, and her injuries had been minimal, but she still wore long-sleeved shirts year round, wanting to hide the scars from the rest of the world.

Looking at the sky as he thought about his words very carefully though he knew what Faith said was wrong, if he was honest with himself her kindness was wasted on him he was a monster in his own eyes an din the eyes of everyone who saw him , His need of blood had diminished over the years he had locked himself away from the world it had diminished it wasn't gone it was still there and the longer he sat there the more he wanted to taste Faiths' blood on his tongue."Thank you Faith I guess this flute has been the only real comfort I've had for a long time. And please do not lumber me with those vile philistines known as Vampires, I may be a monster but I drink from bags to protect the world from what I am."
Getting up and opening his wings so that he could he hover just a foot or two from the ground the dragon held out his hand towards Faith inviting her to join him, his wings beating slowly "would you like a lift home or to wherever you were going I wouldn't feel right letting you leave here alone especially after your dizzy spell."
Unsure as to whether he was being patronizing the dragon folded his wings against his back once more and landed lightly on the ground flashing a smile towards Faith as he repositioned his hair sot hat it covered the right hand side of his face once again.

Faith relaxed into the bench as she sat next to the dragon. She had been around supernatural creatures enough to not freak out when one presented itself before her. It was a normal occurrence anymore. Besides that, Adramelech seemed kind enough. He hadn't let her fall when she had passed out, and he hadn't drained her of all her blood. So how could she not think that he had good intentions? She found him to be kind, too. His words were kind. He was just, overall, a kind being in her eyes. She smiles at his words and shook her head. "No, sir. You are not a vampire. You are a dragon. Many vampires are much more vicious than you. They drink live and drain the person. But you... You drink from a bag which must take great strength. But... If you ever snap... If you ever need to have live blood, you can have mine so that you don't hurt anyone else. I suppose I owe it to you for your catching me." She said kindly, fingers faintly tracing the scars on her arm through her sleeve. She had never had another being drink her blood, but she supposed that it couldn't be too much more painful than being used as a carving post. She sighed softly before her eyes looked up as he stood, hovered and then stood again. She listened to his words, but politely shook her head. "No... Thank you for the offer... But I don't... I can't... I'm afraid of heights..." She said quietly, looking up at him almost apologetically.

Adramnelech's lower dropped instantly his tail stopping it's happy swaying motion as he looked at the ground trying to figure out what this woman's game, was she trying to be funny and share a joke his brow furrowed as he pondered her comment about using her to feed it was most perplexing to him he had never thought of live feeding for a long time not since moving to this city. He found it startling and even frightening that she would offer up her own blood what if eh accidentally went too far drank too much and killed her he couldn't have that again. "No no it is fine I am grateful for the offer but I just can't it's not that i don't want too I mean your offer is the kindest thing anyone has ever said to me in a long long time."
Unable to think of anything else to say he just smiled half hearted hoping that his smile didn't betray how much he was perturbed by Faith's offer although he was probably failing at that as much as he failed at being able to control his animalistic urges to feed, setting aside his feelings and what Faith had said he merely looked at her a little perplexed and rather amused at her other comment but when he thought about it a little longer he realised that some beings are afraid of a lot of things just like his fear of himself. "So since you are afaraid of flying an dnot being on solid terra firma might i walk you to your destination?"
The dragon flashed his usual crimson toothed as he stood patiently awaiting her answer.

Faith couldn't understand why someone wouldn't be nice enough to offer their blood to a dragon that needed it. She trusted that he wouldn't kill her if he did drink from her, and she definitely needed to repay him for having caught her when she fainted. Blood was a renewable resource, so she didn't see any danger in allowing the dragon to drink her blood if he truly needed it. "You are most welcome, Adramelech. I do mean it... Any time you need it, you can have it." She said gently, giving a slow, small smile. She was far too sweet and innocent for her own good, believing that the world was good and just... It would eventually be her demise. The young blonde glanced around at his question before giving a small smile and nodding. "That'd be nice, actually... I'd like that."
