Nickname: Kai
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Grade: Sophomore
Subject: ---
Race: werewolf
Play-by: Katherine Mcnamera
Appearance:
Kailee is a red haired she-wolf with pale skin and vivid green eyes. She stands roughly 5'3 and is slender, built like a runner. The werewolf female is known for wearing vibrant red lipstick with neutral eye shadow. She also dresses in form fitting clothing. Kai's usual outfits consist of skin tight jeans, knee high boots, tanks or tunic tops, and a black leather jacket. She is not one for jewelry, preferring to let her appearance stand for itself.
As a wolf, Kai is striking to say the least. She stands roughly 32 inches at the shoulder and is lean yet powerful in build. Her coat is beautiful, a rich red hue and markings that are extremely reminiscent of the maned wolves in South America. She has white toes, usually muddy from running around. She also has a white spot under her lower jaw that most never see.
Personality:
Kailee is confident and creative. She loves to express herself through painting, though books tend to be her escape from the world. While not born in the south, she has much of the etiquette teachings that you would find in the typical Southern Belle. Her mother insisted that she be able to be a functioning and proper member of society and not be a 'thug' as she put it.
Kai has a temper on her, partially honed by her Irish and Native American blood. She also grew up in Montana, working with horses and fighting with them when they decided to be jerks. In her eyes, if she can hold her own against a 1200 pound stallion with an attitude problem, not much is going to be able to stop her in life. That being said, Kai is not the one to start an issue with another, though she will not back down. That tendency has caused her much trouble through the years.
History:
Kailee was born in Montana, raised by a proper lady. Her mother was a Irish and Cherokee maiden that was stubborn and independent, but well versed in proper etiquette. Ravyn refuses to speak of Kai's father, leaving a good chunk of who she is a giant mystery. The only thing that Kai can easily tell is that he was a werewolf. Her mother is as human as they come and tends to frown on the fact that Kai is not.
Kailee grew up in a little down in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. She was the biggest tomboy for the longest time, spending her days keeping up with the boys and being determined that she could do anything that they could do. This led to broken arms and black eyes, blemishes on her record that her mother was determined to stamp out of her rebellious daughter.
At the age of 12, Ravyn sent Kai to a boarding school in London. There, she was forced to hide half of herself while she endured the training that would make her the lady that her mother wanted. Kai managed to keep under control for 4 years, only letting her wolf out when she was able to sneak out of town and into the country. Just before her 16th birthday, there was an altercation in her school with one of the other students. This altercation pushed her temper too far and caused her to shift in the middle of the main hall. She was quickly expelled and sent back home, where her mother searched long and hard to find a place where she could belong and continue to learn.

Trey sighed as he strode along the beach, his hooves sinking into the surf. The weather was finally warming up and spring was kissing the trees with green growth. It was his favorite time of year in the realm above the surf. It was a time of new... new growth, new life, new chances. Flicking his golden fluke, he dove into the sea and sighed softly at the feeling of weightlessness that overcame the gravity. Unlike a typical shark, CEF's had developed gills within their natural nostrils. Membranes closed and opened to accommodate the change of oxygen flow.
The depths of the sea here were not like those that he had called home as a pup. That being said, there was a startling beauty to the water that made him smiled softly. Out in the distance, a shark darted through the dark water. It was too far for him to recognize, but it made him feel more at home. A sliver of thought wove through him and he was glad that Pol was not with him. She would be terrified at the sight of any shark. Maker knew that she had been afraid of him at first sight, even with him being more than your typical shark.
Turning through the water like the shark he had seen, he swam back to the beach. Breaking from the surf, he carefully made his way back to land. A soft sigh escaped his throat as he felt the land claim him again. He always felt so heavy leaving his home, the waters that gave him life. "I probably would not have stayed here without the waters that I could claim as my own... Too much dry land is terrible for my pelt." He laughed as he shook his coat dry and gazed about him. His experiences in Novus so far had been pretty quiet... Heck, he had only met a few horses and had yet to find any sign of Polar North. Not that he was holding his breath at this point. "Maker, please make her safe. Maker, help me find her..." He murmured reverently, eyes seeking the warm skies above him as he prayed to the god that he trusted.
