Gorgeous doesn't even begin to describe this male. Tall, dark, with shocking blue eyes, he's a dream for sure...until you realize he's a vampire and well aware of what he is and how to manage that condition. At 6'3 he cuts a bit of a demanding figure. Weighing only 160, the boy is built with all muscle. Of course, working out all of the time helps with that. His hair is dark brown with a bit of wave to his hair. Light blue dreamy eyes make him look so human it hits hard. However, his eyes are the only thing that ever gives away his true age. Somewhere in the depths of that light blue is a distance and wisdom that only comes from age and lots of it. The cold blooded killer has no markings on his body except for one light trace of a scar across his lower back. The reminisce of a bad run in with a werewolf at some point in the past, though he'll never admit who put it there. One will only see him in two kinds of outfits, work out clothes or business suits. He prefers business suits and cuts quite a dashing figure in them. Gianni keeps his personal appearance pristine never letting a hair out of place and always avoiding looking like the monster that he is when the blood gets low in his system.

Personality:

This vampire rarely will share his likes and dislikes to anyone, because he is usually very easy going. He tries not to show any emotion other than calm and caring to those who don't know him. Once one gets to know him they'd find that he often has a sad sort of softness underneath that exterior as if he's never truly happy, such as sadness comes from years of watching those he cares about die. His only goal is to keep Rowan safe in order to keep himself and his coven safe. He likes everyone and rarely finds anyone that he dislikes. His only dislikes are those who abuse their power. His only fear is that if he fails her, she will die like another once love in his life. The previous love in his life is his only secret he refuses to share about the werewolf that left the scar across his back as he still feels responsible for what happened to her. This gentleman however always operates on the utmost best manners and believes that all women should be treated like queens and that men should line up to do so. He abhors men who act like manwhores and women who fall at such men's feet.

History:

Gianni Franco Costellini came into existence as a human in 1515 the son of a wealthy banker. Gianni grew to be a very pampered and lazy son. He wished only to go to parties and have fun, instead of apprentice as a banker under his father. A dilitant and yet the only son, Gianni was allowed to get away with much of this, though none knew it would be his demise. One spring, Gianni spent cavorting around Florence much to his father's dismay spending money and attending parties relentlessly. At one such party, Gianni meet a gorgeous woman who he became obsessed with and went with to every party. After one such party, Gianni was walking the woman home when she suddenly attacked him and turned him into a vampire. She had felt that as a vampire they could be together forever that way.

The vampire and Gianni weren't prepared for how harshly Gianni would take this. As a vampire, Gianni spent three hundred years killing, pillaging, and generally making a wreak of things. Though he began to settle somewhat with age. It took a young woman to settle the man inside back down. Traveling through France, Gianni met a beautiful woman who had survived the French Revolution. Her dark eyes were saddened and he sought to help her as much as he could. He grew to adore her and dream of being more than friends with her. It came to him that she loved him the same, and yet it wasn't meant to be. The night that Gianni deigned to tell her he was vampire, they were walking along the forest in the dark. Once he revealed his news, his love ran terrified of him suddenly. This worked out unfortunately for her for she ran into a pack of werewolves and though Gianni saved her life, she changed the next moon cycle. Horrified at what she was, the young lady allowed herself to be killed by the pack that created her. When Gianni tried to stop her, she sliced his back open with her claws and barreled into the waiting maws of the pack that ripped her to shreds. Gianni was lucky to walk away with his life.

For years, Gianni hunted and killed werewolves so angry at the destruction of the woman he loved and yet nothing healed the pain. Soon, he rejoined the coven of his creator which was now a coven dedicated to protecting humans and preserving alliances between different species. The coven was about promoting tolerance and soon Gianni found some solace for his hurt heart.

Things were going well until the same pack that had killed his love was convinced that his coven had killed their heiress. The coven and the pack went to war having two battles that only ended in a high body count and no clear winner. Soon after, Gianni's creator discovered that another pack had set the coven up to take the fall for their actions. When this was brought to the pack's attention the fighting stopped, except for the new young heiress. She was a young wolf with alot of anger and when Gianni tried meeting with her. She tried to kill him. That was only the beginning of the trouble he'd have with Rowan. After successfully thwarting her attempt to hurt him, Gianni reapproached her during a normal day and found that she was still angry and yet different in human form. After a month of constant pressure, Rowan accepted him as her guardian only because there had been threats on her life as her pack arranged to decimate the offending pack. For almost a year, he was her constant companion and at one time almost her lover, though that was destined not to work out well. Then she was sent to another school leaving him to stay with his coven. Now the two will be united again as he comes to teach here.

The lone vampire stood watching the Caruso pack play in human form in the valley below. He had been interested at first, but he missed seeing the now three Townshend wolves. Rowan and Brodie had been shipped off to two different boarding schools and their father had spirited back to New York at the first chance. Gianni found that the other Carusos weren't so welcoming, though the alpha of the pack was trying to make the vampires essential to the protection of the pack between moon phases. Gently, he began walking down the hill towards the werewolves. None looked up at him as he entered the Caruso mansion and headed toward the library. It was by far the best room in the whole place with thousands of rare texts. On his way, the eldest Caruso stopped him.

"Costellini, may I speak with you?" He asked though Gianni knew he'd already assumed that the 500 year old vampire was just dying to talk to him. Gianni could only imagine what fool task the man had for him now. The vampire stepped up and nodded not wishing to speak. "I'm a bit worried about the heirs. News comes to me that even after preparations that they still may not be safe forever. I'd like you to go to this...Cry Wolf High School is it and teach/watch over our Rowan. I already contacted your coven about having someone protect Brodie as well. You'd not have to spend every waking moment with her like you did the past year, but just be there in case something changes."

Gianni's face brightened greatly. This was one thing that he hadn't seen coming and yet it made him happy to hear it. Oddly, the young female werewolf had become his best friend over the year even though they'd gotten off to a rocky start...well nasty fight to begin with. The vampire walked off immediately and went to pack. An airline ticket and teacher forms were already sitting on his unused bed. Smiling, the vampire prepared to make his way to New Orleans.
