Appearance:
Tiffany is a pretty girl. She has long, wavy blonde hair and wide, blue green eyes accented with long lashes and mascara. Her skin, though pale, tans nicely in the sun and is rarely found to have a blemish. Makeup is a must but she keeps it natural and understated, accenting her features rather than overpowering them. Her ears are pierced, her figure is trim, and her sense of fashion is up to date. While she only stands at 5'4" an weighs 115 pounds, she is very athletic and has very little body fat (along with a very fast metabolism).Personality:
Clothes are a hobby for Tiff. She loves to shop and keep up with the latest trends. Brand labels are a must and the more expensive, the better (even if she can't exactly afford such things). She absolutely abhors her new school's dress code and it wouldn't be surprising if she racks up a few violations in that department. She loves her short skirts, high heels, and shirts that aren't always school appropriate. While her style isn't overly slutty or trampy, Tiff is very confident in her body and has no qualms about showing it off. She also loves to accessorize and has a weakness for designer sunglasses.
Tiffany is far from the stereotypes people tend associate with her. She's not a dumb blonde, she's not a true mean girl cheerleader, and she's not some genetically enhanced freak of nature. While she is not the smartest person out there, she does try very hard. Her grades usually range from a B to an A- because she puts in the work and the effort. She does her homework, she studies for exams, and she doesn't miss class unless she has to. She has a strong work ethic that carries over into her hobbies and life choices.History:
Practice makes perfect and while she does come off as a bit of a bitch, it's not because she thinks she's better than everyone or that she owns the world. Tiff is far from a queen bee. The people she's cruel towards are the ones who deserve it: the lazy, the ignorant, the fools who think that challenging her will be an easy fight. She has high standards and doesn't put up with a lot of bullshit. If you're not going to practice, you don't belong on her squad. If all you do is mooch, you don't belong at her lunch table. She's a real leader and always tries to pull her weight. She's got too much at stake to not try her hardest. Anything less and she's afraid she'll fall.
Her parents' divorce hasn't helped her mood. It occurred around the same time of her power first manifested and her temper's been a little more out of control than normal. She tries to behave and keep her emotions in check but sometimes she loses it and pulls her wand out without thinking. Misfired spells happen more than she'd like to admit and usually cause her to panic. For the most part Tiff tries to keep a level head, however, and as she continues to gain better control over her magic she has the makings of a true leader. She always tries to make good on her promises and looks out for those she cares about.
When it comes to friends, she really does care. She's loyal and passionate and does not handle betrayal well. Despite her difficult home life, family comes first and her friends are considered as good as family. With romantic interests it's a little different. She really wants a serious commitment but after what happened with her parents, Tiff is a little scared. It's easier to keep things casual and impersonal than to risk a broken heart. Besides, being a teenager is all about having fun, right?
Tiffany's past isn't much of a secret. In fact, it's the reason she came to Cry Wolf High. Her mother, Samantha, hooked up with a man named Roger she had met at a bar. Eventually the one night stand turned into something more and (a little impulsively) the two of them married. Tiffany was born in late September, destined to be the couple's only child.Name: 'Nali
For the most part her childhood was pretty happy. Her parents spoiled her, she loved them both dearly, and they appeared to be quite the happy family. She wasn't aware of the problems that occurred when she was out of the house or the arguments they tried to cover up. She thought that everything was fine. She was happy, therefore everyone was happy. Then the unthinkable happened when she was fourteen.
The fighting became more public. It was difficult to miss the signs that something was seriously wrong with her parents relationship. The whole town knew it. Hell, the whole state knew it given the way those two could yell. When she was fourteen her father filed for a divorce. It was messy and painful and somewhere in the middle of it the stress and frustration brought out her magical abilities. Tiffany wasn't sure what hurt more, her parents breaking up and trying to play her against each other or the pain of uncontrolled magic as it rebounded, harming her own body. Eventually she would decide it was the divorce.
Witchcraft became a means of escape. She had grown resentful towards both her parents. Living with her mother who remained in Converse, Tiff started spending less and less time at home. When she wasn't a school or at practice, she could be found out partying or getting herself into trouble. Sneaking out was easy enough when you could cast a spell to cover your tracks. She spent a lot of time writing, escaping the drama by creating her own fictional worlds too. By fifteen she had decided she wanted to be a writer.
Now, at age sixteen, things are looking a little better. Tiffany is happy as long as she's not home. Her acceptance into Cry Wolf High School means she doesn't have to go home at all, not even on holidays if she doesn't want to. She'd pounced on the first chance she could to go to the boarding school, not caring if it would help her with her powers or not. It was a chance to get out of the house and have some of the independence she so badly desired. It was a lifesaver in a time of need.
She's also completed half a manuscript and published a few short stories in a couple of magazines. Her control is getting better though she still has a few slip ups and, all in all, life could be a lot worse. In some respects she's glad the worst she has to deal with is her mother's constant emails checking up on her (it's as if her leaving the nest finally made her mother care) and the pictures her father posts on Facebook of his new wife and family. The divorce still hit her hard though, and her personal life is not without its own drama.

Ah summer, a time for rest and relaxation. There was nothing better than days of endless sunshine, skin crisping to a tan, and spending all day without a care in the world. For most people it was a break from the tediousness of school. No more classes, no more teachers, no more stupid homework. Sure there was the occasional summer class someone bothered to take, but they were never as hard as the ones offered during the school year and as long as you passed the grade didn't really matter.
Summer at Silas wasn't much different. Sure there was a stray class going on here or there but for the most part school was out. The only ones lingering on campus were professors who didn't bother to move out of their housing (provided they had a position again next year) and a handful of students that didn't want to go home. It was a boarding school, after all, a home away from home. That is exactly why Tiffany now stood in front of the intimidating front doors, staring up at the building in awe.
School wouldn't start for another month at least and yet she had already made arrangements to move in. In all honesty, the soon to be junior could not wait. Her acceptance letter had sent her packing the moment it had arrived in the mail. It was her ticket out of there, away from her mother and that stupid little small town and everything bad in her life. It was one step closer to independence. It was time to start living her own life.
Unfortunately, moving in before orientation was a little disorientating. Heaving open the large front door, she kicked her suitcase inside and dropped her backpack on the ground. The roller bag containing mostly shoes became her new stool as she took a seat to catch her breath. Talk about a workout. Maybe she should have traveled lighter (granted she had left a good 2/3rds of her closet behind to begin with under the pretense that she could shop here if she needed). Ah well, too late now. The important thing was that she was here, finally, and that she wouldn't have to spend another second at home. Thus, she called out rather loudly, voice bouncing around the great hall and unconcerned about the echo. "Anyone around? New student here! I could use some help!"
