Tapping it open with her foot, hands full, she deposited her things on top of the softest bed since she was the first one in the room. Then, she returned to the door, looking at the rest of the names on the list. Crispin Russell and Nico Hawkes. Well, this would be an interesting year. Kicking the door shut as she turned around she started to unpack all of her comforters and other stuff. She took the closet, and the smaller dresser that was beside her bed, filling them with her clothes, leaving the large armour with a closet, and the other small dresser for the two boys to fight over. Carefully, she made her bed, placing the pink fleece blanket under the white, fluffy comforter. Three pillows were on her bed, two with the same white, soft pillow case, and one with the same dark pink cover, placed on top of them in the middle. Folding her last sheet at the end of the bed another pop of dark pink was added to the end of the bed. She also pulled out her foldable lamp with the same colour and placed it on the nightstand beside her, along with her dark pink clock. It was already starting to look a little more like home. Though, she had no real personal items. At least, none that would send her back to a bad time. So, in order to relax she sat down on the bed, pulling out her phone and laying with her back against the headboard and knees bent up while she played solitaire on her phone. Now, it was just waiting to see who would enter the room after her and just who it was that she'd be spending the rest of the year with. -321 words -heh she stole all the good stuff xD -tagging Crispin and Nico[/style][/style][/style] [STYLE=font-family: courier; font-size: 9px; text-align: center; text-transform: uppercase; margin-top: -15px;]template by tammeh[/style]

The black leather jacket was shrugged higher up his shoulder's as Crispin walked down the hall. His expression was less than amused as there was no one around to be forced into charming smiles. A duffel bag was slung over his head while he pulled a rather small suitcase behind him. His belongings were meager. Unlike most of the students here, he had no home to go back to when school let out. At least, not one he would call home. A broken family was a kind way to describe his. Crispin wasn't kind. A greedy bunch of sniveling assholes was what he preferred to think of his parents. The only family he'd had; his sister, and maybe even the best friend he'd made when he was younger, both were long gone. There was nothing for him save for this school. Perhaps that was why he devoted quite a bit of time to his studies. While he had yet to decide what career he would go for, Crispin knew he wanted something that would challenge him. So far, his classes had been a bore. However, this year was promising. He was certainly looking forward to Forensics. Crispin's hazardous blue eyes caught sight of the room he'd been assigned. Renny Augustine and - He dropped the duffel, shock plain on his face where he usually kept it so well schooled to something more neutral. The name blared at him painfully, a reminder of how much grief could still hurt years later. Nico Hawkes. He shook his head, closing his eyes with an annoyed frown. Nico is an extremely common name, he told himself. Regardless, he already decided he would hate this person with all he had for sharing the same name as his dead friend. It's gonna be a great year. He forced a smile, though it held all the traces of poison he usually kept hidden. Not like it mattered. There was no one to see it. He shouldered his way into the room, the scent of another already perforating the room. Remmy. Smells yummy. It was merely the stab of pain that had him thinking so crassly already. Of course, he was usually quite a dick, so it was hardly surprising anyway. Picking his bag up, he let a sunny smile brighten his face as he stepped in and called out. "Honey, I'm home!" His tone was contradictory, friendly, yet haughty all the same. Now, if the lady had been in front of him, he would have been on his best behavior. As she was still out of sight, he felt no qualms about proving himself to be a grade A asshole. He walked about the suite, noting the open door straight ahead. Blinding shades of pink and white assaulted his eyes and Crispin shook his head. One of those girls, eh? And by that, he really meant the 'easy' types. The ones he could charm the hell out of and leave in a millisecond drowning in a puddle of tears. Typical cheerleader with little brains to go off of. However, it wasn't a fair assessment at all and merely an attack just because of her favorite color. He could care less whether the thoughts were fair or not. They were his, after all. He didn't wait for her to emerge from the room; heading down the short hall to the room on the end. Keeping himself as far away from others was always an excellent tactic. "Name's Crispin," he said as he tossed his meager belongings into the room. "I imagine you're Renny."He left the door to his room open, an invitation for her to come in if she wanted to partake in the necessary small talk. With his bags on the bed, he efficiently went to unpacking his things. He tossed the black silk bedsheets beside the bag on the bed, figuring he'd do those last. While he didn't have a home to go to when he wanted one, Crispin wasn't without resources. In fact, he'd learned plenty in his computer courses, taking the lessons taught there to stretch out and teach himself some hacking techniques. His well-off parents weren't so well off as they would have liked to be every month, thanks to a little bug courtesy of him. They were kindly listed as living expenses. It always brought a wry smile as he thought of the irony. His clothes were unpacked with little fuss as he tossed them in vacant drawers. A few school supplies were placed neatly on the desk where he would organize them later. Crispin kept his back to the door, taking his time to get his wild emotions under control. It wasn't often he didn't have a handle on them and it was throwing him far off his norm. He sighed as he reached the bottom of the bag. Carefully, he lifted a small framed picture of a dark haired girl with soft blue eyes and a wicked grin. It was something too personal to leave out in the open for all to see. Before it could be seen, he opened the armoire and quickly placed the photograph on a small shelf before quickly closing it away from prying eyes. With little ceremony, Crispin dumped the empty bags on the floor and began making the bed. The silk made a whisper of sound as the material rubbed against the rest. Between his fingers, it felt light as a feather. Just as efficiently as he'd dealt with his other things, he made the bed. The last step was to throw the thick, feather stuffed black comforter over the sheets. The pillows were already neatly arranged. Looks ripe enough to have sex in, he thought deviously. Feeling much more settled, Crispin took a deep breath. When he turned, his vibrant blue eyes flew wide. There was utter shock, paired with quite a bit of anger as he stared at the being standing down the hall in front of Remmy's room. His jaw had fallen open a little and he felt sure his eyes were glowing amber with the urge to shred the apparition before him to pieces. Rather than terrify the bloody hell out of his female roommate, Crispin could only let the barest hints of a sword tip grace his voice. It was when he was almost too sweet that it was time to worry. "Well, damn if it's not a ghost. Hello, Nico." Words: 1069 Notes: It's going to be an interesting year, indeed! Muse: Awesome Tune: Sunshine - Vertical Horizon Tag: Nico and Renny [/scrolly] |

Nico walked through the halls, his form flickering with his general anxiety. He wasn’t sure about this place yet. This was his first year, and already he’d had to stop and ask directions multiple times. At least he’d gotten them from some hot ladies, so points for the future options there. Of course, despite his flickering form, nothing about him showed any sort of distress, and as he strode through the halls, he might as well have owned the place. Even when he’d asked for directions it was more of an ‘I’m asking for directions so you can admire my prowess’ kind of thing, and clearly it had worked for at least one of them. He wasn’t carrying anything except for his duffel bag. Which was real light, in all actuality. The only thing he really had in there were some sheets he’d snuck into his old house and taken, some of his old clothes, mainly jeans and band t-shirts, his bow and quiver, and a picture of his father. That was all he’d managed to grab before his mother and step-father had come back from the funeral. How he’d been able to pick things up was beyond him, but he had been able to, and scarcely escaped. He knew he’d died. When he first woke up as a ghost he’d been covered in his own blood, and clearly one cannot bleed that much without dying. His form flickered more with the memories, and just before he disappeared and made his duffel bag a haunted one, he regained control and set his mouth in a grim line, brows furrowed as he made his way to his dorm room. He drew close enough to see the number on the door, and he saw that he was with Renny Augustine…and Crispin Russell. His throat choked up and he stopped abruptly, feeling someone yelp and stumble through him in surprise, but he wasn’t paying them one ounce of attention. If he flickered invisible now he wouldn’t be able to regain form for a while. It was different when it was inadvertent. Nico drew a deep breath and set his bags on the ground before flicking out of sight and walking, invisible, through the door and into his dorm. He heard the sound of another unpacking, but first he investigated the pink infested room where a girl was sitting on the bed, playing on her phone. He smirked and became visible, only long enough to be seen before he disappeared once more with a low chuckle.
The eighteen year old looked around and then turned back to get his things. He didn’t want to face his other roommate, who had the same first and last name as his best friend did. Nico swallowed thickly and grabbed his bag, this time opening the door and walking in like a mortal, just for looks, since really, he was tired of being invisible. Most of his first year in death had been spent invisibly, and it had been rare when he’d been substantial enough to hold something physically. Looking down at his clothes, he sighed under his breath. He wore a pair of worn jeans, black running sneakers that were starting to show serious signs of wear, and a plain cotton t-shirt stretched across his lean frame. His most expensive keepsake besides his bow he wore on his wrist, his black watch, something he’d also been able to get from his house before leaving. Nico could faintly remember the last time he’d actually gone shopping for clothes, and that was when he’d been alive. He didn’t want to go to a mall and risk disappearing halfway through to be stared at once he’d come back. And exactly what would he have bought the clothes with? He didn’t have any money, no job accounted for that. Besides, he knew his only other option, and despite how easy it’d be now, he would never steal. At least not something like that.
Hawkes turned to head towards the only room left in the dorm, and he slipped inside, fighting to stay quiet as he closed his eyes, drawing in a deep breath. Carefully unpacking his things, Nico put what little clothes he had in his dresser, and then unpacked his sheets, plain white cotton ones, with a low thread count, all his parents had had, putting them on the bed. He took his time, every smooth movement inspiring more dread within him, until he felt as if he might burst from any more dread or worry. Looked into his duffel bag, putting the picture of his dad under his pillow, since while he believed his father to have left him, betrayed him, he was the only tangible thing left, his last real link to when things had been normal. Nico turned to look at his bow and quiver, still within the duffel, and he debated taking it out or not. Frowning, he sat down on the bed, pulling his bow out and laying it across his lap. At the moment, it was folded up, though ready for use, and he sighed, slipping it beneath his mattress, hating to do so, but until he got settled in, he didn’t want to take any chances of leaving it out in the open and risking anything. His bow was his baby, and he wasn’t going to take any chances with it. Standing, Nico strode to the opened door and out into the hallway, figuring he should introduce himself to his female roommate, only to stop when he saw a familiar face gazing out from the third bedroom at him. Cris. His blue eyes were wide with shock, and quite a bit of anger, and Nico resisted the urge to flinch beneath the now glowing amber gaze of his best friend. "Well, damn if it's not a ghost. Hello, Nico." The barest hint of poison tipped his voice, and Nico flinched visibly, his form flickering before he looked away and drew in a deep breath, characteristic smirk playing on his lips as he turned pained hazel eyes on him. ”Cris, man, you look like shit.” The ghost said with a cheeriness he didn’t feel, his fingers clenching and missing the familiar, reassuring weight of his bow.

No one had appeared yet - and while she would love to actually see how much of an ass the two new roommates would be, she also welcomed the idea of peace and quiet... and sleep. Something she hadn't been able to hold between her fingers and stay friends with. Nightmares had slicked up sleep with such a nice coat of oil that she seemed to only be grabbing a few hours of sleep at a time before she jerk awake, eyes running across her hands and arms, searching to make sure that there wasn't blood. And then, if she thought there was she would rush into the bathroom and be there at the sink attempting to wash it off. And she would not leave until she was satisfied, completely certain that all of it was gone. Of course, the only times she saw blood was when she was insanely stressed. And when she was insanely stressed, it simply stressed her out more. And more times than not, the stress would cause her to pass out while attempting to rub the blood that seems to keep appearing and clawing it's way across her body. As she started to close her eyes, rolling onto her side - her fingers carefully positioned as they grasped onto sleep for the millionth time that day - she heard an obnoxious voice and the door open. "Honey, I'm home!" Rolling her eyes she sat up, glad she hadn't actually been asleep. Swinging her legs off the side of the bed, she went to stand up. But, the second he disappeared down the hall she shook her head and instead stayed there, shaking her head. Then, his voice carried around again. "Name's Crispin, I imagine you're Renny." she could see his room had been left open as well - but she didn't really feel like getting up so instead she just pulled her legs back up onto the bed and crossed them before reaching for her phone again. As soon as she started playing her eyes caught something appearing. And when the person was right in front of her she let out a short screech, jumping back so that she was standing up against her headboard, almost falling off the side of the bed. "What the hell!" she hissed, voice still a little loud. She could already tell that Crispin was a shape-shifter, his scent had filled the room when he had walked in. A form of a canine, in fact. But, she hadn't smelled Ghost! A scowl on her face she stood up as she heard the door open and then the slightly agitated voice of Crispin. "Well, damn if it's not a ghost. Hello, Nico" and then the voice of the ghost who had just given her a scare past what she was willing to deal with. "Cris, man, you look like shit." cheeriness filled the room. A low hiss escaped her mouth before she quickly popped off the bed, her nails claws for the time-being. With a few deep breaths she allowed them to return to her nails, though her eyes were an eery neon yellow with the classic oval shaped pupils. She stalked out, her face immediately recognizing the ghost. "You." she said, before going right up beside him and slapping him across the cheek with pent up anger. "Have no right to be scaring me." A definite pause while she felt her nails go back to claws again, "Asshole" she hissed before blinking away the neon eyes and flexing the claws away. Crossing her arms against her chest she stood back, annoyance filling her entire face. "Be very glad I didn't bring the claws out, herrn. And since y'all know each other - yes, I'm Renny." she said shaking her head before starting back towards her room. -679 words -dammmnnn she pisseddd -nico and cris[/style][/style][/style] [STYLE=font-family: courier; font-size: 9px; text-align: center; text-transform: uppercase; margin-top: -15px;]template by tammeh[/style]

Nico's all too familiar, cheery voice rang out through the room, but Crispin knew him well enough to know he was just as shocked to see him, and maybe even a little afraid. After all, Nico had only been human the last time he'd seen him, and knew his shifting ability. What human wouldn't be a little uneased by their best pal being able to turn into a wolf when he got a little too angry? "You're looking a little pale yourself." The stiffness that had settled into Crispin's shoulders fell away. So...yeah, he's still dead. Just...ya know. A ghost. Completely normal. Why the holy hell is he a ghost? As far as Crispin knew, there should have been nothing to keep Nico in this plane. Oh, to hell with it all. His next words were drained of anger, though there was still a bit of pain. "It's...it's good to see you, pal."Crispin raised a brow when their suitemate stormed from her room with a furious, "You." A harsh slap quickly followed and Crispin had to muffle a laugh. Kitten's got bite, he mused, fighting to keep the smile from breaking his face in half. "Have no right to be scaring me," she continued. Crispin could practically see the fur along her arched back all the way to the tip of her tail. Of course, she still kept her form, but it didn't stop him from imagining it. The scent of feline perforated the room and he kept picturing a little white kitten hissing at Nico's boot. He put a hand over his mouth to cover the grin, watching his dead friend with far too much amusement. "Asshole." Crispin just had to turn away and cough. He had to. Otherwise, he'd lean against the wall and collapse into such hearty laughter he very well might have a hernia! You're just happy Nico is alive. Sort of... Crispin looked up as Renny spoke again. "Be very glad I didn't bring the claws out, herrn. And since y'all know each other - yes, I'm Renny." Again, the image of a little white kitten hissing on a bed of pink fluff was nearly too much for him. Make it stop! He had to cough again as Renny stormed back into her room. "Well done, Kitten. You tell him!" Crispin called down the hall, blue eyes bright with amusement. Returning his gaze to Nico, his smile was a bit less friendly, if only to maintain appearances. "Best be glad she hit you, Hawkes. You would've been leaking out ectoplasm had it been me."Crispin walked down the hall, peeking his head in Renny's room, his weight leaning against the doorframe. "It's going to be a great year living with ya, Kitten," he told her, a charming grin on his face, his voice far too chipper for having just moments before wanting to shred his dead friend to pieces for having dead. Turning back to Nico, Crispin sobered. He extended a hand, as if to welcome him back. "It really is good to see you," he replied seriously. Words: 513 Notes: Hmm, shorter than I thought. Nico was exploring around the girl’s room a bit, before coming to a stop beside her bed and became visible, much to her immense surprise. She gave a small screech as he faded out again, her hissed, "What the hell!" Following him out the door as he grabbed his things and came back in. He smirked to himself as he unpacked, taking his time doing so, yet being efficient and strategic about it. Nico was anything if not methodical, as was shown in his smooth movements when moving around his room. Really, despite being human with a bit of an afterlife punch, he could have passed as a shifter, what with his predatory movements. Though of course, he didn’t smell like one, and that was a relief as far as he was concerned. He didn’t want to smell like some of those shifters out there. Shrugging lightly, he pulled the case holding his bow and quiver out of his duffel and stowed it somewhere he knew it’d be safe for the moment, also somewhere where it wasn’t too hard to pull it to him. The way he saw it, when using his ghostly powers, there was a faint line connecting him to all objects around them. What he had to do was tug the string and the object would come towards him. The bigger the object, the harder it was, the farther away, the harder it was. But with his bow he was certain of as much. One that he would know it anywhere, no matter the distance, and two, he was strong enough to pull it to himself near instantaneously.
Leaving the room after making sure everything was in place, Nico then turned to go introduce, and maybe….maybe apologize to the girl, Renny, when he saw his other roommate turn, and see him. He knew his own eyes were wide with shock, his voice tight with a cheeriness covering his slight fear, and his ultimate shock. But all of that was shoved aside when Renny came out of her room, stalking towards him, immediately recognizing him. "You." She said, going right up to him and slapping him. He would readily admit he wasn’t ready for that, though he had known it was one of the possibilities. Truthfully he could get hit with a truck right now and not see it coming. Cris had thrown everything off balance once more. "Have no right to be scaring me." Ren continued, her nails shifting to claws once more. "Asshole" The shifter hissed, blinking away her neon eyes and stowing her claws. Crossing her arms, the girl stood back, annoyance filling her expression. "Be very glad I didn't bring the claws out, herrn. And since y'all know each other - yes, I'm Renny." Were her parting words as she shook her head and started back towards her room. Nico blinked a bit and then grinned widely, his crooked grin as arrogant as ever. ”Ah, the beginnings of a wonderful friendship.” He called in a cheery tone, a cheeky tone, his typical smart ass one.
Nico looked over at Cris, his expression growing wary the longer silence fell. "You're looking a little pale yourself." He said, and the stiffness that had been in his shoulders fell away. Still, the bowman held still, his hazel/sea-green eyes warily darting from his room to his best friend once more, not ready to relax until he was sure this wasn’t some sort of ruse. "It's...it's good to see you, pal." Crispin’s words were absent of the anger from earlier, though still held the same pain he himself felt. Shrugging lightly, he brushed it off as only he could. ”Pale should be my job description. But….it’s great to see you again too, man.” His first words were wry, spoken with a poison tipped barb of sarcasm that frequented his words most often, but the last bit was spoken sincerely, the joking slipping away for the slightest moment to show the serious part of him. Seeing Cris’s brow raise when Ren stormed out furiously, confronting him with her slap to his face, Nico held in his own laughter, narrowing his eyes at his best friend when he could clearly see him holding back a laugh. As it was, he saw the smirk that Cris was trying to hide, but he knew his best friend too well not to see it. Only once she’d headed back to her room did he straighten and call out his own words to her before looking to Cris. His best friend coughed again to hide his laugh as she stormed away. "Well done, Kitten. You tell him!" He called down the hall after her before turning to face him again. Nico held still, unsure as of what his response really would be, given the change of mood. "Best be glad she hit you, Hawkes. You would've been leaking out ectoplasm had it been me." He said, his tone friendly for the most part before peeking into Renny’s room, leaning against the doorframe. After saying something no doubt aggravating to their roomie, his tone chipper, far too much so after nearly wanting to go after the archer for dying…or something. Nico looked over at him, shrugging lightly in response to his comment about his leaking ectoplasm. He wasn’t about to touch that given the fact when he woke up for the first time, his ‘ectoplasm’ had been all over him, not to mention his chest was pretty much in ribbons of flesh. "It really is good to see you," Cris said seriously, extending a hand as if to welcome him back. But that wasn’t what Nico wanted. He took his hand, and then pulled him close in a tight, near spine cracking hug. Partly to show he was just as substantial as his friend, and the other because he had really, really missed his best friend. ”You don’t know how good.” He said in reply, his features tight.

He dared to use the word kitten!? What did he think she was? Some fluffy, tiny thing that couldn't harm a fly? Psh. That was a lie. A lie he had to be telling himself to make him feel even better. Rolling her eyes she started back towards the room, prepared to not deal with that at the moment. "Ah, the beginnings of a wonderful friendship." he called after her and she turned her head. "In your dreams you ass," she muttered as she rolled her eyes in annoyance before fully going into her room. As he rested all of his weight against her door frame, Cris continued to call her a kitten. "It's going to be a great year living with ya, Kitten." the charming grin on his face caused her eyes to narrow. "You don't wanna see what this kitten actually is, herrn, you understand." she hissed, standing up again and heading towards him only to see the two of them in a hug. She couldn't help but to laugh at that. "Nice to see the asshole's gay. This will be a purrfect year." she teased before standing there and tapping her toe, waiting on the two love birds to break it up. -218 words -Ah. "In your dreams you ass," Renny piped from her room, bringing out another wry grin from Crispin. The silence between the boys had been strained until he'd pulled the stick out of his ass long enough to give a greeting to his friend. Though Nico's reply was still a little cautious, it was leaps and bounds towards the easy way they used to be around each other. ”Pale should be my job description. But….it’s great to see you again too, man.” It would just take some adjusting, he decided. When Nico only shrugged over the leaking ectoplasm jibe, Crispin felt himself pull back a little. Alright, sensitive part there. Only for such a good friend would Crispin give two shits about how someone felt or reacted to his words. From Renny's open door, her irritated voice snapped out to him. "You don't wanna see what this kitten actually is, herrn, you understand." Crispin laughed, added a fiesty purring noise. As Nico pulled him into a hug, Crispin held stiff before doing the same. He couldn't decide if it was a gift or a curse that his best friend was a ghost. Either way, he was stuck in this limbo. Crispin would have to make sure he enjoyed it. "Here, kitty, kitty," he teased, winking in play as Renny stalked over to them. He made a kissing face towards her, chuckling at her smoldering gaze. "Nice to see the asshole's gay. This will be a purrfect year." Renny stood so primly, her toe tapping like an impatient child. Comfortable with his masculinity, Crispin grinned, exhanging a glance with Nico. Without haste, Crispin pulled Renny between them and trapped her there. "Oh, look! We're such good friends already! Nico, isn't this great?" he asked, eyes twinkling with mischief. Nico couldn’t help but snicker a bit as Cris called Renny kitten multiple times, and something told the archer that she wouldn’t like that nickname very much. He called after her, his smirk widening as she turned her head. "In your dreams you ass," She muttered, rolling her eyes in annoyance and disappeared into her room fully. Cris then went on to speak once more, adding his two cents in with another token ‘kitten’ for good measure. Whew boy was he gonna get it. "You don't wanna see what this kitten actually is, herrn, you understand." She hissed, standing up to head towards him only to have stumbled across Nico pulling Cris into a long needed hug. Hearing her laugh, Nico froze and turned his head, eyes flashing dangerously at the words that left her mouth next. "Nice to see the asshole's gay. This will be a purrfect year." She teased before standing there, tapping her toe, as if she were waiting for them to actually do something. Nico, instead of snapping, sweetened his tone like honey and spoke up. ”Honey, if I wanted to be gay, I’d have myself a nice little bitch to go along with it, but unfortunately for you, I’m not.”Seeing the grin on Cris’s face when Renny piped up with her response made it impossible for him not to grin as well. The silence between the both of them was strained, at least until the shifter had greet him, entitling a returned, albeit cautious, greeting. Nico couldn’t help but be wary. Honestly, what else was he supposed to be? Expect everything to go back to normal? No. That wasn’t going to work. He’d died. And this wasn’t going to change a thing. His only response to Cris’s jibe was a shrug, he wasn’t letting himself touch that, because if he did it would only ramp the tension back up to where it had been before, and he didn’t want that. He wanted his best friend back. Cris laughed at Renny’s response, adding in his own purring noise, which made Nico snort behind his fist, covering it with a cough. Instead of just taking his hand and being all formal, Nico pulled his best friend into a tight hug, feeling him stay stiff before returning the gesture. He didn’t want to think on how his friend must think of him now, skin cold unless he forcefully warmed it, able to phase in and out, and not to mention he’d soon learn of his mind-object moving ability. "Here, kitty, kitty," Crispin said, teasing as he winked in play when Renny stalked over to them. Making a kissing face to her, chuckling at her smoldering gaze, and Nico couldn’t help but smirk before she spoke. Apparently she was blind, for how on earth their masculinity could be mistaken was something he didn’t really want to dwell on as Cris exchanged a look with him, and then pulled their roommate in, effectively trapping her there. "Oh, look! We're such good friends already! Nico, isn't this great?" He asked, eyes twinkling with mischief, and the archer chuckled. ”Man, if this is what being gay is like, then maybe I need to lay it on a little thicker.” He joked in response, laughing a bit as he playfully stuck his tongue out at her, hazel eyes sharp. [atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,380,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s413/SilentCallings/MattTable2Middle-1.png]** Matt let out a murmur as he adjusted his medium-sized satchel, preferring to carry one of these instead of lugging around a suitcase, for they were much cuter, and didn’t make him seem so serious, evident also by the small smile on his lips, which flashed away every time the masculine scent of a brute wafted by, making him wiggle around in discomfort, aureate voids locked on the mahogany carpeted floor. The air-conditioned halls made him feel chilly, especially since he had a more sensitive body temperature than most, and he snuggled further into his knee-length navy-blue coat, loving the prickling texture as it slid against his smooth cheek. Finally he made it to the designated dorm, co-ed from what he read on the thin sheet of paper, and he made sure the number was correct in both cases before staring at the list placed next to the door, and indeed he was added in last minute for whatever space was remaining, and with a gentle knock against the wooden barrier, the shifter slid in silently, just like a phantom, closing the door behind him with a muffled sound, just in case his roommates were sleeping at this morning hour.
** He was about to go venture further when the empowering odor of his own gender bombarded him, and he frowned, figure instinctively acting submissive as his gaze diverted to the flooring and his hand reached up to grasp on to his arm, not wanting to threaten these people he would be sharing a section of the area with. But what made a glimmer of hope re-enter his world was that the sweet fragrance of a woman permeated through that of the brutes’, and the vague smile returned as he set his bag down next to an vacant bed and walked quietly to go find the girl so that he could at least introduce himself, and that was when his heart fell down to his stomach, for the femme was caught in between the two guys he had previously found through his sensory skills, and he desperately wished she was okay, and that they weren’t harming her in the way he assumed they were doing, much like his family had done to him, but she didn’t appear to be in pain, rather strong vibes of irritation, and his oblivious mentality switched over as he realized what he could have just stumbled in to.
** “Oh.” A whisper only escaped itself through his larynx and lips, to touch upon the heated atmosphere, light tenor chords vibrating through his diaphragm, and he felt awkward as he stood there meekly, for he was guessing he had just stumbled into a fiery, passionate affair between all three of the companions, to which he wondered if he should just leave and let them continue with their activities, after all, hadn’t he wanted to go check out the rest of the school. Yes of course, just like he had planned all along, but why did it feel as if his feet were rooted to the ground? Though he didn’t want to be rude, especially in front of two strong males with threatening-looking hands, as his mind first paid heed to, and he murmured out in that hush of a voice of his, “Hello, I’m Matt.” He tried keeping his eyes on something that didn’t make him overtly nervous, and thus he kept it on the pretty girl, tilting his cranium as he kept his features soft, just getting himself to familiarize that face so he could relax and not be as tense as he was, more like a steel rod rather than a living being.

She really didn't do physical interactions. And then she could feel Nico moving. When she was finally in a position to look up she saw his tongue being stuck out at her. "Don't make the cat bite your tongue." she hissed, her claws already out as she prepared to stab both of them where it would hurt since she was at the perfect height for it. "Such. Great. Friends. My. Ass." she muttered. Then, of course, their last roommate walked in. Apparently quite disturbed with the whole scene he froze, before looking at her. "Hello, I'm Matt." She could tell he was nervous, and currently she was just pissed off with these two men keeping her trapped right here. "I really hope y'all don't plan on using your junk any time soon." she hissed below her breath before stabbing her claws at their 'nuts' and then jumping out from the middle and stepping towards the young man. "I'm Renny," she said, before retracting her claws and offering him a hand to shake. "Don't make the cat bite your tongue." Crispin chuckled, looking over her head to Nico. His eyes twinkled merrily, a grin showing rather sharp canines. "Sassy, ain't she? Your type, isn't it?, Nico?" Crispin asked, his chest rumbling with a laugh. "Such. Great. Friends. My. Ass," Renny bit out through her teeth. "And what a fine one it is, though I think Nico may have a better view. What's your take, pal?" Crispin asked. Why, he hadn't had this much fun in quite a while. Teasing her was far too easy. His eyes shot up at the sound of someone at the door, his gaze hardened with a possessiveness his wolf was intent on placing on the inhabitants of the room. The kid looked nervous as hell, meekly speaking his name. Crispin opened his mouth to invite him to join in the 'dogpile' when Renny hissed quietly. "I really hope y'all don't plan on using your junk any time soon." A harsh laugh choked out of Crispin as he backed away to give her room. Didn't she know he liked it rough? No? Well, there was time to teach her. He reached out to put a comforting hand on Nico's shoulder, a grin still on his face. "Very Sassy," he told his friend with a wink. The scent of the newcomer had Crispin barking out a laugh. "Now who's bright idea was it to be the kits in the same suite with the big bad wolf, eh? No one but me sees the potential for disaster?" he teased. He didn't extend a hand as Renny had, but merely did a small salute. "Welcome to the pack Matt-o. It's gonna be a blast."By now, Crispin had quite enough of socializing for one day. As he turned, he raised a hand over his head. "Be in my room if you guys need me." He chuckled a bit and grinned cheekily. ”Feel free to join in on the fun, since I’m sure Renny wouldn’t mind another, now would she?” he said with a playful smirk, hazel eyes glinting with amusement. “Hello, I’m Matt.” Matt murmured in that soft voice of his, not meeting his or Cris’s gazes, something Nico noted and then tilted his head slightly, watching him. ”Nice to meet you, Matt. I’m Nico Hawkes, and this ass on the other side of Renny is Cris.” He said with a smirk over Renny’s head at Cris, and then looked over at Matt, expression his smart ass one, but friendly as well. Never let it be said Nico wasn’t welcoming to new roommates. He shook his head slightly, chuckling in amusement as he finally got what Matt must see when he’s looking at them. Two guys and a girl smushed in between. Well damn. This was getting better and better. The archer smirked and winked at Matt, waiting to see what reaction he’d get. As Ren was pulled into the hug she let out a grumble of discomfort, one that only made the grin on Nico’s face widen fully into a full blown smirk that was made only to signal mischief. He stuck his tongue out at her, and when she saw it her reaction was in understatement, comical. "Don't make the cat bite your tongue." She hissed, claws already out, and he smirked again, tsking and shaking his head. ”Now, now, don’t throw a hissy fit on me now, Missy.” He said with a laugh, shaking his head before she muttered, "Such. Great. Friends. My. Ass." And he mock pouted, making puppy dog eyes at her. ”What’s the matter, can’t you see our super dooper great friendship blooming?! Cause I can!” He said in a whiny tone, grinning widely. Then their new roommate walked onto the scene, clearly disturbed as he froze and then looked at Renny. He snorted and covered his laugh with a quiet cough. The boy looked as if he were expecting Renny to be some sorta angel or something. Well he was in for a wakeup call, because she wasn’t an angel. "I really hope y'all don't plan on using your junk any time soon." Were the only words of warning he got, but it was all he needed as her hand, instead of swiping for his nuts swiped up through him, and he snorted derisively. ”I really hope you didn’t expect me to leave myself defenseless when those pretty claws are out to play.” He said with a chuckle. "I'm Renny," She said, withdrawing her claws and offering Matt her hand to shake. "Pleasure to meet you," Renny added, and he snorted once more, rolling his eyes with a grin. Cris chuckled, looking over at Nico, eyes twinkling merrily, showing canines rather sharp. "Sassy, ain't she? Your type, isn't it?, Nico?" He asked, chest rumbling with a laugh. Nico tilted his head and pretended to think about it. ”You know, now that you mention it, I think she is.” he said with a smirk. "And what a fine one it is, though I think Nico may have a better view. What's your take, pal?" Crispin asked, and Nico snorted. ”View’s pretty damn good from here, man.” The archer said with a low whistle. "Very Sassy," His best friend told him with a wink as a harsh laugh choked from him. Nico smirked in return, chuckling. "Now who's bright idea was it to be the kits in the same suite with the big bad wolf, eh? No one but me sees the potential for disaster?" The wolf shifter teased, not bothering with extending his hand, merely offering a small salute. "Welcome to the pack Matt-o. It's gonna be a blast." He said, and it was clear to Nico that his best friend had had enough for one day, and he didn’t blame him. "Be in my room if you guys need me." Were his parting words as he departed down the hall towards his room. Nico, on the other hand, had nothing better to do, so he figured he could hang here for a bit. The woman then scampered over to him, and his spirits instantaneously perked up, especially as she held out her hand, introducing herself formally, to which he took her palm in his own and shook it softly, gentle smile along his lips as he dipped his chin. “The pleasure is all mine, Renny.” He hummed in a whisper, at this moment choosing to release her mitt from his grip, and returned his own limbs back to his sides where they interlocked behind his back out of habit.
**That was when the male shifter of the current group sauntered in the direction of his own room, tossing a casual salutation to the feline, to which he tilted his head a bit before giving a meekly small wave, so he wouldn’t be considered rude, despite his unnerved conduct. The taller of the guys had spoken, giving both of the names of him and his companion, to which the boy stored all of this newly found information in his mentality, tagging a picture of them as well for safe-keeping, figuratively speaking. Though what threw him off was the wink by one of the obviously two handsome men in the dorm, to which he timidly flushed beneath his pale flesh, racking through his brain for any possible excuse he could have to hightail it out of here, for now it was blatantly obvious that he wasn’t interested in the opposite gender, and let’s just say, that didn’t sit well with many people, and with a final attempt at a kind expression, the cat closed his eyes before re-opening them as he murmured, “Well, it was nice to meet you, um, you know, I’ll just go to my room, and unpack.”
**Thankfully since there was a maiden in the building with him, he wasn’t stuttering as usual when around brutes, which never went well, and even though his statement was awkward, it worked, and he let out a small uneasy laugh before backing up towards the empty chamber he had left behind, swiftly using his animalistic reflexes so as to not bump into anything, and soon enough, his fingers came into contact with a metallic doorknob. Twisting it, he slipped into his own contained nest, letting out a sigh as he looked around a let out a mumble, unpacking his messenger bag and placing all of his necessary things in the correct stations, but there wasn’t much anyways, it was hard to carry a load when you were trying to leave somewhere as quickly as possible, so that you could live your life without a fear. Choosing to lounge a bit after such an exciting day, the Canadian shifted into the little pet he was categorized as, a small, tangerine-furred Tabby Cat, and with a silent mew, he scaled up the furniture until he was on the strip of concrete next to the window, to which he laid down and warmed himself in the loving sun.
